Chapter 1334: Chapter 741: Uninvited Character_3
As for how to overco subservience, it’s actually quite simple.
Why can’t a biting dog be kept?
Because after tasting human blood and flesh, the dog understands that the once supre, deity-like master can actually be hurt.
And being able to be hurt ans losing divinity, demoting from a deity to a human.
At the sa ti, the dog’s wolf nature will be aroused; it might turn back into a wolf, or even a wolf that preys on humans.
This is obviously unacceptable to humans, so such a scourge must not be kept.
The sa principle works in Night City.
The incredibly strong Thirteen Vampire Clan Families are untouchable, but if soone can sever their divinity, demoting them from the city’s rulers to one among the Demon Witches, then things will get interesting.
Dorothy, through Hers’ eyes, looked at the audience below the stage. At this mont, she didn’t see a group of witches but dogs that were suppressing their instincts, tucking their tails.
Just waiting for a brave one among them to pounce on the prey, making it bleed, then these forr “dogs” of the Vampire Clan Witches would transform into werewolves biting off the vampires’ necks.
The pack is eagerly stirring.
But who will be that brave lead wolf?
Dorothy thought of this and suddenly recalled the fleeting mysterious figure she saw entering the city.
Phantom Thief Jack.
In reality, she already knew who that initial werewolf was. It was the recently infamous Phantom Thief in the legends.
Unfortunately, Dorothy, who had seen the plot in senior Fanny’s mory, knew that this play “Trickery and Lies” couldn’t satisfy her curiosity about that Miss Phantom Thief.
Next, the stage play would enter the climax of the third chapter, the story of Phantom Thief Jack stealing the Ancestor Gem from the Thirteen Vampire Clan Families in front of everyone.
Phantom Thief successfully tosses the Ancestor Gem casually to the crowd, and a Dog-Witch, who was then an Orc Witch, luckily catches this gem harboring the True Ancestor power of the Vampire Clan, thus becoming the first true werewolf demon witch, kicking off the tale of love and slaughter between werewolves and vampires in Night City that has lasted to this day.
Only, the audience cannot assu the phantom thief’s perspective.
Yes, clearly the absolute protagonist of the third act, but the audience cannot take on that mysterious protagonist’s perspective, becoming rely spectators to the Miss Phantom Thief’s subsequent performance.
This is quite wretched.
And this is also why “Trickery and Lies” has been so controversial, because strictly speaking, Lord Demon King and The Sage of Lies are just supporting characters in this play, the real protagonist is that mysterious Miss Phantom Thief.
But who are these characters, Lord Demon King and The Sage of Lies? How can the phantom thief have the credentials to make these two giants her stepping stones?
This is absurd.
Fortunately, the scriptwriter is Hers himself, otherwise, with this plot, it would undoubtedly be criticized to death.
In fact, Dorothy now also wants to scold soone.
After all, she also wanted to deeply experience that Miss Phantom Thief.
Co on, these Phantom Thief roles, though unrealistic, are super cool, right?
And just when the hobody witch was sowhat regretful, she was suddenly taken aback because she saw a familiar figure in the crowd watching the magic performance below.
It was a witch dressed similarly to Miss Magician but wearing a mask over the upper half of her face.
Phantom Thief Jack?
Dorothy was taken aback.
…..Hobody Witch in shock…..
