And when a witch student graduates from the academy, her academy gifts her an academy hat, representing that she is a graduate of that academy, so when traveling, senior sisters can tell she is one of them from the hat.
Of course, if you have a real ntor, like Dorothy’s Spider Teacher, then when you master your skills, the teacher will also gift a Witch Hat, signifying you are a recognized student.
Additionally, once you start work, various Witch organizations will create guild hats based on your position to indicate your identity and status.
