Therefore, the common military magic spells are actually those between 3-10 Rings.
Less than 3 Rings’ spells have limited damage and can’t be used; above 10 Rings are too hard to learn and can’t be popularized, making them equally useless.
Besides, lower-ring spells are actually more popular, like the lowest level Three-Ring spell.
For instance, the most commonly used Three-Ring spell in battle groups is Exploding Fireball Technique, an upgraded version of One-Ring Fireball Technique, with greater power, higher temperature, and explosive effect.
The key is that Fireball Technique is a magic every witch knows, so learning Exploding Fireball Technique after joining the army is easier for beginners, with low learning threshold and widespread popularity.
As for professional Ard Witches, Exploding Fireball Technique, a Three-Ring magic spell, is actually called Basic Magic Spell, nicknad Basic Magic Attack Spell, literally using it as basic attack.
The importance of basic attack hardly needs further explanation.
On the battlefield, nobody would stand still stupidly to cast advanced magic, often it’s the quick who prevail when fierce paths cross, he who raises his hand fast and initiates the attack gains the advantage.
1-3 Rings low-rank magic spells, most Great Witches can quickly master them for instant casting after so training, actually proving more useful than Interdiate-Level Magic requiring incantation from 4-6 Rings.
Therefore, battle groups often grasp tightly on the Three-Ring basic magic attack spell hoping for great ones, achieving swifter attacks with stronger effects, hence great battlefield advantage for group mbers.
Besides the basic Three-Ring magic attack spell, the second most important are the 7-9 Rings High-Level Magic Spells.
If the Three-Ring basic magic attack spell is akin to individual soldier firearms, then the 7-9 Rings High-Level Magic Spells are like tanks, planes, and artillery, heavy equipnt.
Such things often decide the direction of a campaign.
