The Conscience Devil's Mirror appeared to be nothing more than a slightly larger full-length mirror at first glance. Its left fra was supported by an Angel, while the right was supported by a Demon, and above the mirror, there was a majestic dragon head with terrifying golden vertical pupils that stared straight at you, imposing an inescapable pressure.
As Dorothy agonized over whether or not she should go up and have a look herself to complete the procedure, the two teaching assistants had already begun organizing the newcors to queue up and look in the mirror. After each person looked, they would also examine the image in the mirror and then provide an assessnt.
"Although your desire for power is a bit too strong, you pass—next."
"You're too greedy for money. Watch out for corruption in the future, but you pass—next."

Dorothy watched as the newcors lined up one by one to look into the mirror, each reflection differing from the last.
So witches were seen lying in mountains of treasure composed of nurous riches, symbolizing their strong desire for wealth.
Other witches were depicted either lounging on the laps of beauties or surrounded by handso n en masse, symbolizing their sensual nature.
So were surrounded by scenes of battlefields and monsters, emblems of the pursuit of strength.
Still others appeared in the mirror as rulers surveying their domain from on high, indicating their aspiration for power and influence.
However, these were mostly normal since witches who wield strength were indeed more unfettered than humans, daring to dream and strive, especially these newcors who were among the elite of the witches. If they weren't full of desires, if they lacked dreams, where would the motivation to fight co from?
And this made the hobody witch even more curious about what reflection she'd see if she looked in the mirror.
emmmm.... She had a feeling it might just show a salted fish lying flat like Ge You.
Dorothy assessed herself with this very clear understanding in mind.
She didn't share the intense desires and pursuits of her compatriots. The greatest goal in her life was to have a house, which had already been achieved, and the next steps were to pass her Mother Superior's test, find a cure for senior Fanny's split psyche, and then she could truly relax and lay back.
"How about I sneak a peek after their assessnt is over?"
That's what Dorothy was thinking.
However, just as she thought this, there suddenly was so commotion in the assessnt area.
"Wait, listen to , please explain."
"I'm not, I didn't, I really don't know what happened..."

Upon seeing this, the hobody witch furrowed her brows and stepped forward.
An Angel Witch stood before the Conscience Devil's Mirror, her face filled with horror and disbelief. In her reflection, behind her stood a High-Order Angel with four wings. Silk threads extended from the Angel's fingers, making the Angel Witch seem like a String Puppet in the Angel's hands.
The implication was clear: there was a serious issue with this Angel Witch, who was likely a spy planted by the Angel Clan.
This made Dorothy frown.
Had the Angels beco so brazen now? This was the Judgnt Court, a departnt specially handling spies. Planting a mole here was a slap in the face to the Witches, wasn't it?
As expected, upon seeing this scene, all the surrounding Witches imdiately beca serious. Both assistant instructors and the surrounding newcors promptly encircled the horrified Angel Witch.
The assistant instructor codenad Lady Butterfly, a Demon Witch, took action directly. She waved her hand, and a Magic Rope imdiately bound the Angel Witch tightly, and as the ropes tightened, the suspect spy was suspended in midair.
Next to her, the assistant instructor codenad Lionheart, an Angel Witch, trembled, her chest heaving tremulously, clearly disturbed.
Dorothy could understand this assistant instructor's feelings. After all, this suspected mole was an Angel Witch, not a specially recruited newcor but a second-generation heir recomnded for succession, clearly from the God King Faction.
If there truly was an issue with this Angel Witch, then the entire lineage of Senior Judges who recomnded her to join the Judgnt Court would have to undergo investigation.
In these tis of the declining strength of the Angel Witch Clan, the authority of the God King Faction in the Judgnt Court had already diminished. Should further trouble arise, the already difficult situation for the God King Faction would undoubtedly worsen.
It was known that it had been tens of thousands of years since a spy had erged among the newcors in the Judgnt Court. Only at the very beginning, when the Judgnt Court had just been established, did so of the otherworldly races stubbornly try to cause trouble. But once they realized they couldn't escape the Witches' scrutiny and would be severely beaten once exposed, they all gave up such suicidal actions.
Therefore, this loyalty test had beco nothing more than a formality, yet today, trouble had indeed occurred, making the situation quite the spectacle.
The Judgnt Court was the most loyal and sharp sword in the hands of the Council of Sages, a precise scalpel to remove the ailnts of the Witch World, and the insurance that the Witch World wouldn't succumb to corruption and decay.
Problems could arise in other departnts, but never in the Judgnt Court. One could say if the Judgnt Court was slightly rotten, the entire outer Witch World would rot in turn.
Reporting this matter would likely incite the fury of the Sages above; no doubt, it would be thoroughly investigated.
Realizing this, Dorothy involuntarily took a cold breath.
Damn, I don't have the luck of a protagonist, so why do I get the protagonist's troubles? All those previous newcor training sessions went smoothly, so why did the trouble have to happen on my watch today?
"Hey, senior sister, what do you think about this?"
Feeling a bit of a toothache, Dorothy silently asked her Masked Senior Sister.
"I think there's sothing fishy about this. The Angel Clan, even though they have been quite unsteady lately, wouldn't dare to make a move against the Judgnt Court."
"I think so, too."
Dorothy nodded. She rembered Sophia, she recalled the God King Holy Child's affair, and then she thought of the trio from the Holy Words Departnt who had co to cause trouble earlier today.
Sure, what she said about leading a counter-investigation was just spoken in anger—she did indeed plan to check the mission hall later to see if there were any investigation tasks regarding Angel Witches.
But now, her intuition told her she might not need to seek out tasks herself—the big one was coming.
