Because the bait had been eaten, the fisherman naturally reeled in the line.
It was as if a deity was fishing from the sky; when the slender fishing line tensed, the Evil God's tentacle, originally set on targeting the People of the Sea again, was promptly lifted and then inextricably dragged upwards until it vanished into the void.
With the dragging away of this tentacle, the massive dark shadow lurking beneath the sea was forced to erge. It was a colossal green monster with the head of an octopus, the body of a giant, and a pair of relatively small wings on its back. And that terrifying tentacle was rely one among many that hung from its body like whiskers.
If the Female City Lord had seen such a true form of the Evil God on an ordinary day, she might have already gone mad with fear, but at this mont, she simply couldn't feel afraid. The formidable Evil God could only scream and wail as it was gradually pulled up into the sky by that mysterious fishhook and eventually disappeared above the clouds.
And it wasn't until after the terrifying Evil God had completely disappeared that everyone ca back to their senses, and then the Female City Lord turned her gaze to the Fish-head Priest who had been stunned stiff.
Priest: "...."
What happened? Where is my master? Where did my mighty Deep Sea Overlord go?
Unfortunately, there wasn't much ti to ponder, as the Female City Lord had already led her people to surround him.

Elsewhere, in the Witch World, City of Glory, Golden Town Resort, the fishing area.
"Damn, the boss is aweso. I haven't seen anyone catch an Evil God in almost a hundred years; those Evil Gods have beco too clever these days."
"Wow, you really can catch Evil Gods while fishing? I thought that was just an urban legend."
"Turtle, what an eye-opener, today's fishing ticket was worth it."
"Keep it up, boss, hang in there, don't let it escape."

At the other docks around the fishing site, the Witches who had been fishing on their own were also startled by the terrifying tentacle that broke through the water.
The power of an Evil God would warp everything around it, causing all who saw its form to beco corrupted and twisted into its followers. However, all of this was predicated on it still possessing that world-warping Divine Power.
Alright, this Evil God still had its Divine Power intact, but the world was no longer the one it was familiar with. A local deity from a minor world had suddenly arrived in the dominating world of Witch World, with all its might but nowhere to use it.
The world consciousness of Witch World would not tolerate such a foreign Evil God swaggering on its territory and bullying its daughters. An outsider without a valid resident status had no rights here.
And so, the pitiable Evil God was directly banned; its most fearso power of corruption rendered useless, its Divine Power circulating only within its body, unable to influence the outside world in the slightest.
Thus, the once-mighty Evil God, having lost most of its powers, was now at most only capable of using Divine Power to strengthen its body, rely becoming slightly more powerful. In plain terms, it was now nothing more than a fish with particularly great strength.
This sudden helplessness combined with its lingering anger at wanting to crush whatever offended its divine presence made the Evil God suddenly choke, followed by an inexplicable panic.
The nurous eyes on the emanated giant tentacle were all filled with the sa bewildernt and astonishnt.
Uh, sisters, did I disturb you, did I offend you? Can we talk this out and let go? I want to go ho and continue hiding away.
The Evil God's eyes conveyed such a ssage of panic.
At that mont, the once-arrogant Lord of the Deep Sea was very frightened; it couldn't understand how it had rely been woken up from slumber for a al and suddenly found itself in this terrifying place.
And what were those things that looked sowhat similar to the feeble ants known as humans according to its mory that were beside it? They definitely couldn't be human, as humans couldn't possibly be this frightening. Each of them harbored a power flowing within that even the Evil God couldn't comprehend—a power that transcended the Divine Power of deities.
In summary, weak, pitiable, yet helplessly greedy for food, the Evil God truly panicked at this point and began to desperately struggle underwater, attempting to go ho.
However, the more it struggled, the greater the force that hooked its tentacle beca. This power was so terrifying that it reminded the Evil God of another oceanic overlord that it had opposed for many years—a sea dragon.
No, this power was even greater than that of the sea dragon.
Damn it, I just took one taste out of greed; who did I even provoke? This must be a nightmare; I must still be not fully awake.
The Deep Sea Overlord thought desperately and fearfully, and then struggled even more fiercely.
If possible, it actually wanted to sever its tentacle to survive, but the fishhook eroded it in reverse, making it impossible to cut off.
"Hey, hey, hey, I'm really not going to last. Senior Fanny, lend so Magic Power."
On the dockside, Dorothy's face turned beet red as she grasped the fishing rod with all her might, lest she end up fished out instead of doing the fishing today.
Yet the strength of the Dragon Witch was not enough. She could only use the techniques of battle magic martial skills, casting several spells on herself to enhance her strength.
And her fishing rod was close to giving in, forcing her to expend Magic Power to temporarily strengthen it with Alchemy. However, the Evil God's struggles were so intense that even the magically ford fishing line was greatly burdened. It was fortunate that Dorothy possessed the specialty of Control of Magical Power (SSR); otherwise, the line would have broken long ago.
