The domineering and dignified Miss who had been looking down on the world had vanished like an illusion, replaced by the trembling Dorothy in front of her, her face expressing "take it easy". Sophia was sowhat speechless, yet she found it sowhat amusing.
She was truly unsure which persona was the true nature of the Miss: Was it the occasionally arrogant and fearso tyrant, or the low-key, timid witch who only thought about taking it easy every day?

But now she was too lazy to differentiate so clearly, especially since the Miss had spoken so definitively just a mont ago, and she had really listened; there was no longer anything to fear.

The Pure White Witch set down her knife and fork and, looking up at this online friend she had known for years but was eting in person for the first ti today, extended the invitation.

Therefore, even if Sophia willingly becos the Miss's retainer, it doesn't an she would completely forgo her own character in deference to the Miss.
A qualified retainer should clean up after the Lord; anyone who comfortably expects the Lord to do it for them isn't a retainer but sothing like a favored consort.
So, as a joke, there is no way Sophia could beco the favored consort of the Miss, absolutely not.
For soone who has long decided to control her own fate, she would never bow down to anyone in this lifeti.
Indeed, her future must lie above.
So, capitalizing on the Miss's support to do whatever she wants is out of the question; Sophia doesn't really plan to utilize the Miss's support. Its only purpose is to give her confidence, filling her heart with courage. The rest, she will handle herself.
