Now reading: Chapter 542: 425. Car Crash Strategy2 from Otaku Witch, a Fantasy novel by Salty Fish Becomes Immortal.

This was a strategy spell created by Dorothy, who had gleaned inspiration from her extensive reading of various military texts and nurous strategy gas she had played.

Well, to be honest, the hobody witch herself wasn't even sure if this thing counted as magic since the core of the formation was actually from so Qin Dunjia techniques in her mories from her previous life.

Speaking of which, Dorothy herself found it a bit ridiculous. In her past life, she was just an ordinary hobody guy, not so professional Taoist. Her understanding of the Qin Dunjia technique was limited to so popular science by novel writers and so basic information she had once looked up online out of curiosity.

Anyway, she had barely comprehended those mystical and obscure things in her previous life, and couldn't understand them at all. Back then, she had been an atheist, thinking these matters, put nicely, were cultural heritage, or, put bluntly, feudal superstition.

But in this life, when she revisited those materials from the palace of her mories, it was really weird. Those mystical ramblings, which refused to speak plainly and seed like words from a Heavenly Book, suddenly gave her so marvelous insights.

Things like yin and yang, the two instrunts, four images, and eight trigrams, which hadn't made much impression on her in her past life, now seed to have a strange beauty in her current eyes, as if they contained an infinite Tao.

But if you asked her what exactly she had comprehended, she couldn't articulate it. However, driven by inspiration, when those military strategies and ancient legacies learned in this life combined, they ford this one Eight Trigrams Formation.

She was now truly starting to believe the claim that the world of her previous life was in the Last Dharma Age, and she had a hunch that the immortals from myths and legends might have been real.

Ah, it's frustrating. If immortals really existed, then why didn't I get to be transported to cultivate as an immortal? Being a witch isn't as fun as being an immortal.

Dorothy often thought with a sense of regret.

She only blad herself for not reading more Taoist texts or learning more about cultivation techniques in her past life. Otherwise, she felt she might have been able to truly attempt cultivation now. After all, the re Taiji Bagua Chart was enough for her to deduce the mysteries of this Eight Trigrams Formation. She figured if she had morized the Tao Te Ching and other texts in her past life, maybe she could really have figured out a cultivation technique on her own.

Shaking her head, the hobody witch cast aside the regrets in her mind and then turned to explain to the eight people who looked quite puzzled with their little flags rging into their bodies.

"This is a precautionary asure. After all, this is your first ti carrying out such a team mission, and you aren't quite familiar with each other. Even if it cos to a lee, I doubt you will coordinate perfectly, so these eight spells will help you work together seamlessly when the ti cos."

The eight of them were slightly taken aback when they heard this, sowhat incredulous. After all, coordination is generally sothing that can only be honed over a long period of ti, and they hadn't heard of any thod that could instantly improve teamwork.

However, none of them voiced any doubts. After all, they had already witnessed the vast divine skills of this Lord Clown during their assessnt. Since she said it was possible, there was a high probability it was true, and they were just ignorant.

So, the eight witches briskly turned and left the room, plunging into the darkness outside the door and charging straight ahead.

And as the eight of them took action, Dorothy noticed a straight line appear on the originally pitch-black map she had, indicating the exploration status on their side.

After glancing at the map, Dorothy turned her attention to the remaining four witches.

The Stellar Speaker from the School of Prophecy, the King of Luck from the potion school, the Vice-President Skywalker, and the lucky Elf Witch, Child of the Forest.

These four weren't very good at direct combat, but leaving them to scout the area and gather resources wasn't a bad idea.

"Stellar Speaker, Child of the Forest, co here for a mont."

She held the map in her hands and gestured for the two to co closer.

The two witches approached with curiosity, wondering what Lord Clown was up to now.

"Stellar Speaker, can you divine the locations of resource points?"

Dorothy asked with anticipation.

Yep, it was ti for the seer to take the stage. So what if there's a fog of war? Let's just activate the perspective cheat.

She only regretted that her own studies in the School of Prophecy were a bit shoddy. If it wasn't for her divination spells being so unreliable and occasionally faulty, she would have divined it herself.

"I've tried before, but it seems this chessboard has anti-divination asures. Divination spells are suppressed and not very effective. I can only vaguely sense that there are resources at these few locations," said the Minotaur Witch wearing a starmap mask and with two huge horns on her head, as she pointed out several spots on the map sowhat ashadly.

"Anyway, there are definitely so resource points among these locations, but I'm not sure exactly which ones."

"Hmm, no worries, you've already done quite well."

Even though the Perspective Cheat wasn't fully successful, Dorothy didn't overly criticize the clearly self-reproaching Minotaur Witch Miss. Instead, she reassured her with a gentle voice and turned her gaze toward the sowhat confused Elf Witch beside her.

At this mont, the Child of the Forest was panicking. She always felt that her luck had turned bad ever since she joined the Judgnt Court; it seed as if all the rules were targeting her. Previously, familiars weren't allowed during the assessnt, and now in the battle against the Angels, her familiars and Servant Army were sealed off. How was a Summoner supposed to survive this?

She wasn't weak by any ans; her familiars were extrely powerful, but why was she targeted so rcilessly every ti? Why were familiars classified as minor soldiers that required an Armory for summoning?

The Elf Witch shivered with frustration for quite a while.

Without her familiars and Servant Army, most of her capabilities were directly rendered useless, which was why the Child of the Forest had been keeping a low profile, fearing her burdening identity would be discovered. Yet, she was still called out by the leadership, and now feeling Lord Clown's gaze turning toward her again, the Elf Witch was truly panicking.

"Don't be scared, I won't eat you. Why are you trembling? Co on, choose four from these circles—any four. It's best to go with your first instinct."

Dorothy looked at her trembling subordinate and comforted her with so helplessness.

This one was a King of Luck; with the Perspective Cheat being interfered, the King of Luck's aura was her strength.

"Uh, then these four."

The clueless Child of the Forest obeyed diligently, quickly pointing out four circles on the map.

At this, Dorothy smiled.

"Alright, then these four. You four go directly to these places and see if there are any resource points,"

the Hobody Witch ordered cheerfully.

Anyway, they could only trust the King of Luck's intuition now—there were no other options.

Ah, if only Sophia were here with now, she'd be able to help with the Perspective Cheat.

Dorothy missed her roommate a bit.

Her seemingly casual choice also left the four witches speechless.

Co on, Lord Clown, this is an important gamble affecting the witches' reputation. Could you please take it seriously? How could you be so careless?

However, the four witches didn't say much. They just gave their capricious superior a silent look and then each chose a target as well and set out.

As a result, on the map in Dorothy's hands that originally only showed one straight line, four additional straight lines now appeared.

"Tsk, what a hassle. Strategic gas are indeed boring; I really hope the fight starts soon,"

the Hobody Witch, seated on the throne, said as she looked at the map, waiting idly.

After a while, she perked up, her gaze drawn to the straight line streaking through the map. At the end of this line, beyond the icons of her own eight people, several additional red icons had appeared.

But...

"One, two, three... nine. Ah, what's this, they all decided to co at once?"

Seeing nine Angels suddenly erging from the opponent's formation, Dorothy slapped her thigh, feeling a bit excited.

Aweso, they're up for a face-off. Now it's ti for micro-managent.

The Hobody Witch closed her eyes, her spirit already traversing through the markings on the eight banners to the front lines.

...Dorothy in deep focus...
