Invading another world is indeed a technical task.
Just as a normal family's doorway will have a door to prevent theft, worlds also have what you might call a "security door."
The periphery of a world is generally protected by a layer known as the "World Barrier." In most cases, anything from another world that hasn't received permission to enter is blocked by the World Barrier and cannot make it inside.
Moreover, the function of the World Barrier isn't just to prevent invasions from the outside; it also acts as protection for the world itself.
Once the World Barrier is breached, the unprotected world could be eroded by the endless void, plunging directly into an apocalyptic end.
This is also why the Lord of Glory cannot descend in His true form—His power could shatter the "door" in an instant, but then He would only obtain a broken ruin of the apocalypse, which really isn't worth it.
Therefore, a normal invasion is actually a kind of erosion of the world. Simply put, it's about finding a way to trick the inhabitants into opening the door for you. This way, the door is not damaged, and one can easily invade the world.
As for the thods to deceive and open the door, the three great calamities each have their own special techniques.
Angels rely on faith. As long as the dominant species inside the world becos devoted to heaven, then the door can naturally be opened with ease.
Demons rely on contracts and lies. They tempt the chosen ones within the world, causing them to beco corrupt and fallen, serving as guides who voluntarily open the door.
As for the Great Dragon...
Well, the Great Dragons aren't into such delicate tasks. They are too lazy to bother. They don't break the door; instead, they choose to upend the door along with the house, swallowing the world whole, thus ridding themselves of any worries.
First, they swallow the world into their stomach, where the Dragon Stomach isolates it from the void. In this way, when they breach the door, they need not fear the void damaging the now unprotected essence of the world, and in ti, the whole world will beco nourishnt for the Great Dragon.
Therefore, Sophia was well aware of what the Old Pope's grand ceremony was really about—it was in fact an "Open Gate" ritual for heaven, so as to allow those Angels coveting this world to descend.
Of course, since the Church had not yet fully taken control of this world, the door was not completely open—it's more accurate to say that a crack was open. Heavyweights like the Lord of Glory definitely could not get in. At the start, only weaker angels of average strength could co through.
Now, after over a month of preparation, the entire Holy City outside had entered into a frenzy, with countless zealots walking the streets. They devoutly and fervently recited the Gospel handed down by the Lord of Glory, while other less devout believers were also swept up in the tide of the masses. They were influenced by the atmosphere and began to pray along with the crowd.
Hence, a torrent of the Power of Faith was transmitted to the Glorious Cathedral in the center of the city.
Inside the Glorious Cathedral, Sophia quietly witnessed everything. The Old Pope behind her was still prostrate on the ground, earnestly praying, while on her sides stood dozens of Low-ranking Angels, guiding the converging torrent of faith, transforming it into a channel to communicate with heaven.
These Low-ranking Angels were so-called "Divine Envoys," all of whom had been summoned by the Church from heaven through nurous grand rituals.
Although they were just Low-ranking Angels, their power was still overwhelming for the frail mortals. Indeed, it was due to the strength of these Divine Envoys that the Church had been able to develop and expand so smoothly and swiftly over the years.

Normally, the Lord of Glory who would appear during the Witch's Night should also be like those previous Low-ranking Angels, rely a Phantom from the mories of God King.
But the Lord of Glory from the past wouldn't bestow the title of Saintess upon her; such an unexpected event where she's awaited right upon descent could only be due to one reason—that the consciousness descending soon is that of the true Lord of Glory, the King of Angels who is about to break free from the seals of the God King in reality, or in other words, her esteed father on her mother's side.
Although Sophia actually detested her Angel's bloodline, and like other witches, disliked the Lord of Glory, she had to admit she felt a complex mix of emotions now that her Mother Superior was about to appear before her.
The attraction and closeness brought about by the bloodline were not subject to the will of humans.
As an imnse amount of the Power of Faith was infused, the statue, which was originally just a cold stone sculpture, began to co to life, emitting strong Life Force and trendous authority.
Clearly, the power of the Lord of Glory had connected to this statue, using it as a vessel to send down an Incarnation.
And as the life force within the statue grew increasingly robust, Sophia's feelings of kinship and admiration surged, and her body and even her soul seed to urge her to step forward quickly to welco the arrival of Mother Superior.
However, Sophia's will forcefully suppressed these annoying instincts; the Pure White Witch stood there in the distance, impassively watching it all unfold.
