"Well, if everything I brag about cos true, how can you accuse of promoting hero worship? I'm just being realistic here."
During the God King's rule, the entire Witch World had only one voice, and that was the will of the God King himself. The whole world was crafted around the God King at its center, and it was only with such unified and concerted effort that the Witch World managed to survive the initial and toughest era.
However, it's clear that the new generation of witches can no longer empathize with their ancestors' hardships. They just think the God King is cold and heartless.
Many young witches looking back on the era of the God King feel that that period was so dark and bloody. They believe the God King went too far in his authoritarianism, asserting that he was so obstinate and indifferent, sotis furthering his agenda at the cost of human lives, completely disregarding the well-being of those below him, a thorough tyrant indeed.
This perspective has gained quite a following among the new generation of witches, and over ti, the impression has ford that the God King is out of touch with the people.
Senior Mia, of course, wasn't foolish enough to believe those naive opinions of 'why not eat minced at,' but she did agree that the God King was indeed ruthless.
After all, upper-level rulers must be sufficiently cold-blooded. Those who are kind-hearted and indecisive aren't suited to be leaders; so situations genuinely require a heart of stone.
She believed the God King's actions back then were the best solution. Although it seed dictatorial and even bloody to the common eye, so feats are appreciated over generations, despite the imdiate consequences. Without the God King, where would the Witch World's current glory be? Those keyboard warriors on the Magic Network would probably still be slaves to the Angels, not having the chance to nonsensically chatter.
Senior Mia actually thought that the God King understood the human heart too well, knowing too well the unreliability of a disorderly mob, and therefore used fervent faith to co-opt their will, ensuring they obediently followed orders.
In summary, "Everyone just lie down; no need for you to be ritorious, just don't ss up. Just obediently follow orders and be a tool; I'll take care of the rest."
Why do you think this battle is called 'The Rise of God King' and not 'The Rise of the Witch Clan'? Because the other witches are literally just tools, totally dependent on the God King to soar.
The God King advanced too quickly; the other witches simply couldn't keep up.
Even now, during the era of The Third King, it's The Third King moving too fast, with the other witches still unable to catch up.
Overall, although Senior Mia understood Dorothy's intent to solve problems, she thought it was foolish to haphazardly tread the sa path as the God King. Was the God King's path sothing that others could feasibly tread?
Not to ntion others, even the current Miss Denisha might not be capable, because with Dorothy's intervention, she hadn't experienced that true despair. Her heart isn't cold enough yet to be as calm and decisive as the God King.
Just then...
"Who said there's no Destined Canon? Here it is. This is the 'Genesis' from my Moon Worship Cult, we'll just make do with this for now," Dorothy said, pointing at the unremarkable inscription on the Engineering Hamr in her hand.
The Witches: "....."
Excuse , you call that a Destined Canon?
...The Witches filled with question marks...
