Calamity Beasts are generally naturally spawned, incarnations of Calamity Law, and physical manifestations of Calamities, but normally, before a Calamity Beast is born, there are often so precursor signs.
But today’s Earthquake Disaster Beast erged without any signs; it just suddenly popped out from underground.
The reason for this anomaly was simple: soone had nurtured this Calamity Beast elsewhere and then teleported it here just before it hatched.
As to who did it, it is obvious, it had to be those angels from the Glorious Divine Kingdom.
Of course, based on Dorothy’s understanding of Sophia, she is ticulous in her actions and would not normally leave things at a re hint, not even smoothing over the transport portal’s spatial traces, making the flaws glaringly obvious.
Clearly, this Calamity Beast, like the eting of the two in the Magic Web Space yesterday, was Sophia’s way of greeting her, the young lady.
The Pure White Witch made her intentions clear.
She was asking her, the young lady, if she really was prepared for an all-out war and whether she could bear the grievous consequences once the war started.
After all, if today this Calamity Beast appeared beneath her laboratory, then perhaps tomorrow more beasts might appear throughout the Magic Republic.
Today Dorothy was present, so there were no casualties in this research facility, but she was just one person and couldn’t possibly look after the entirety of the Magic Republic.

“So, make your choice, young lady, are you going to simply admit defeat, or choose to continue the war?”
Dorothy could almost hallucinate hearing Sophia’s voice, asking her this question,
Moreover, it wasn’t just about whether she could endure; it was equally about both of their futures.
Now, before the great battle begins, they are friends, but once everything starts, can they really go back to how things were?
Let’s not discuss Sophia’s side for the mont, she probably doesn’t really care how many angels die, but what about Dorothy’s side?
If she couldn’t be indifferent to others as if they were NPCs, then watching countless of her subjects dying in this war, could she still regard the Pure White Witch, the enemy commander, as before?
The Hobody Witch also understood this implied aning.
Therefore, she once again fell silent.
After a long while, Dorothy took a deep breath and then raised her head.
She decided not to go back and make straw n anymore, but to do it right now.
Dorothy tore off a strip of her Nun’s sleeve and casually rolled it into a lifelike doll of Sophia.
She then touched her hand to so of the Breath of Calamity scattered on the ground and used that to write a dense array of Curse Scripts on the doll.
Finally, she reached out and grabbed a strand of Divine Power remaining in the unstable spaces around her.
It was Sophia’s Divine Power.
Even though the Pure White Witch had now transford into a Pure White Angel, and the witch’s Magic Power had turned into an angel’s Divine Power, Dorothy recognized this strand of Divine Power imdiately.
That’s why the Hobody Witch was so sure this was another greeting; after all, a cautious person like Sophia wouldn’t normally leave her own power traces uncleaned—this remaining strand of Divine Power was deliberately left as a clear sign.
Dorothy stuffed this strand of Divine Power into the Sophia doll, thus completing a fresh Cursed Doll.
The Hobody Witch held the Cursed Doll tight and then gently flicked the doll’s forehead with her fingers.
“Acting all high and mighty, Sophia.”
“Don’t pretend like I really have a choice.
If I really surrendered now, you’d probably be outwardly relieved but terribly disappointed and sad deep down, maybe even alone in your room, crying and fussing, how pitiful.”
