Hours later, the sun sank in the west, and dusk descended.

The Student Council was located in the One-Ring Zone of the Witch Academy, an area of dium-sized Sky Island; its surface area was not as vast as the peripheral academy islands, but it was more exquisitely refined.

The architectural style of the island was also quite unique, resembling an expanse of interconnected temples, giving one the impression of entering the Court of the Gods at first glance. And the largest, most majestic of them all was the main hall situated at the center of the Sky Island, the office of the Student Council President.

Sophia was at this mont buried in the mountain of paperwork, processing each docunt chanically and rapidly. The small pile in front of her visibly shrank at a noticeable speed, while the mountains of completed paperwork beside her grew ever taller.

Even though several assistants were laboring to move this "mountain," they were quite exhausted, and still fell short of keeping up with the president's efficiency.

Well, although as witches they could use magic to speed up the transportation process, each docunt was critical to the future operation of the academy. These immature Student Council assistants could hardly fathom the consequences if they accidentally damaged the paperwork, so they preferred the hard labor of moving it by hand rather than using magic.

On the other side, after Sophia finished her work for the day and stood up, she glanced at the assistants coming in and out of the office, moving docunts, a hint of disappointnt flashing in her eyes.

Sigh, this year's new Student Council mbers are still not mature enough. How can they achieve anything when they are so timid in their actions? They forgo more efficient thods out of fear of making mistakes, fear of facing consequences, which is truly foolish.

To put it nicely, their behavior could be called cautious and steady, but bluntly, they lack capability and responsibility.

The Angel Witch couldn't help shaking her head but said nothing more.

After all, they were just newcors; there was no need to be overly harsh. She shouldn't impose her own standards on others, and she could only hope that after so ti and experience, these new mbers would grow.

After all, if they couldn't grow, they wouldn't survive in the Student Council.

Sophia started packing up, preparing to clock out on ti. She estimated that these young assistants would probably have to work overti until midnight again tonight.

Although witches don't necessarily need sleep, the emotional toll of such overti work can be quite unbearable, often leading to little witches quitting the Student Council due to the endless overti.

But this is the Student Council, an organization where efficiency and capability are paramount, where the strong rise to the top and the weak are weeded out—this is the unchangeable law here.

Good luck, then, my junior sisters.

Sophia ntally wished the newcors well as she opened the door and left the office, heading to her dormitory.

In the past, even after official hours, she would have stayed to work overti, to prepare the next day's workflow or to make rounds, helping and guiding the confused newcors, while also consolidating her prestige as the president.

But now that was not an option, as there was a young lady waiting for her at ho. Sophia took seriously the task her teacher had given her to take good care of the Miss, not daring to be negligent.

Now she left work on ti every day, went straight back to the dorm, and dared not linger outside, lest that Miss sprung another "surprise" on her.

"Good evening, president, you've worked hard."

As soon as she left the office and headed toward the door, she encountered a little witch who greeted her with a look of admiration the mont she saw her.

In response, the Angel Witch showed a professionally perfect smile.

"You've worked hard too, Isabella. Get so rest early. See you tomorrow," she said.

Sophia had a certain impression of this young blue-haired little witch; a talent from a rather remote area, initially ridiculed and ostracized by witches from prominent families upon joining the Student Council. Nonetheless, this youngster proved to be very capable and diligent with a good understanding, and by now had earned recognition through her abilities.

Although only 14, she was already considered an old mber of the Student Council, and if Sophia rembered correctly, she was part of the Promotions Departnt, and it seed the head of that subsidiary departnt was about to graduate, leaving a likely chance for this youngster to succeed them.

Sophia always appreciated such capable and ambitious juniors, and she wouldn't mind giving this little one a nudge when the ti ca.

After all, just a little effort could earn the friendship of a witch with a boundless future—quite a bargain, isn't it?

By contrast, thinking of the idle young lady lying flat at ho, the Angel Witch's eyes twitched a little.

"Good evening, president...."

"President, you've worked hard...."

"See you tomorrow, President...."

......

The Angel Witch continued on her way, and all the witches who saw her along the way actively clamored to greet her, each with looks of adoration and yearning, which spoke volus about her high prestige.

Sophia too responded with a smile to each greeting, quite proud of the respect she had cultivated over the years.

But this was not enough, far from enough. Her future goal was to beco a Peak Witch as dazzling and brilliant as her teacher, yet she was still far from that realm, whether in terms of strength, influence, or connections. She needed to work harder.

After leaving the Student Council, Sophia rubbed her face, which had stiffened from all the smiling, and her expression returned to its usual calm. She silently pulled out her broom at the Sky Island Dock, preparing to take off.

However, just as she sat on her broom and looked at the familiar figure beside her who was also preparing to take off, the Angel Witch was montarily taken aback.

"Are you leaving this early today as well, Madeline?"

Sophia took the initiative to greet her own right-hand woman.

"Yes, President, you're quite early yourself."

Miss Succubus was startled by the voice, and when she turned her head and saw the Angel Witch next to her, her piercing eyes also softened a bit.

As the commanding organ of the entire Witch Academy, the Student Council had many departnts under its jurisdiction, but if there was one with the greatest power and strength, it would definitely be the Disciplinary Committee, which managed the school's regulations, oversaw discipline, and governed the school's security departnt. Although, nominally, the Disciplinary Committee was subordinate to the Student Council and under the President's control, whether the Civil Officer at the top, the Student Council President, could truly hold authority over the Commander at the top of the school's ard forces, the Disciplinary Committee Chairwoman, depended on their respective capabilities.

In the past, Sophia had been able to suppress Madeline sowhat, but the difference between them wasn't that great. If she relaxed even slightly, she might capsize. Therefore, there had been no shortage of open rivalry and private battles between the two.

The Angel Witch's previous habit of working overti had been forced by this Succubus Witch, after all, it always looked a bit lazy if a leader left before her subordinates had finished their work.

But this term...

The two, who had been leaving work punctually and on ti for several days, had already t several tis on this dock, and were both quite puzzled as to why the other suddenly stopped working overti.

"Forget it, the young lady's matters are more important."

Sophia suppressed her doubts and took off imdiately.

"Forget it, my sister's matters are more important."

Madeline also suppressed her confusion and flew toward the Tower of Shine.

.......

Five minutes later, cries of panic ca from the top two floors of the Tower of Shine.

"Where is my young lady?"

"Where is my sister?"

Then, two streaks of light sped away, flying out from the top of the tower together.

The Angel Witch and the Succubus Witch t again in the air, this ti eye to eye, with the sa urgency in their gaze.
