Although this Ghost Gate’s design wasn’t exactly like the imposing immortal-style eerie door she designed on Witch’s Night—more like indistinguishable—but the montum of the two doors was vastly different.
If Dorothy’s Ghost Gate in Witch’s Night was like a toy house’s plastic door, then the true Gates of the Underworld in front of her was the main gate of a Royal Palace.
Although both are doors, the feelings they give are entirely different.
“The real Ghost Gate must be no more than this.”
Dorothy looked up at the door in front of her, thinking with such emotion.
Actually, this Ghost Gate didn’t look daunting at all; no ground covered with skulls, or made entirely of bones, but instead, the door was so beautifully crafted that it resembled classical ancient gateway structures.
It had a lovely tiled roof, with flying eaves on either side, and directly beneath hung a plaque, with the words ‘Ghost Gate’ written from right to left. Below was the door fra, a large central door with two smaller doors, all with red-lacquered brass studs embedded within.
The large door was the main entrance, positioned at the center, while the two small doors served as side doors, flanking the main one on either side.
All in all, it was a very beautiful and exquisite gateway.
However, most beings who encountered this door likely wouldn’t have the mind to appreciate its structure because every cell in their body would cry and scream, urging them to imdiately leave this ghostly door.
Because the world behind this door belonged to the dead, and the living should halt at its boundary.
The fear of death is the greatest terror rooted deep in the hearts of all living beings; no one is unafraid of death’s arrival.
And the Gates of the Underworld divide Yin and Yang, embodying the boundary between life and death itself. For the living to directly face the Gates of the Underworld, it was like witnessing death itself, and how could one not feel fear and dread?
Moreover, in ancient legends, so with high spiritual sensitivity could see their own death visions upon the Gates of the Underworld and realize their death day. It’s also told that if any creature saw the Gates of the Underworld open, they would face their destined death.
Simply put, at the mont when you see the Gates of the Underworld open to you, your death day has arrived, or rather, you are already dead.

“Sorry, Dorothy, it’s actually my first ti seeing the true Gates of the Underworld also, and I got a little nervous.”
Hearing her Master’s exclamation, Senior Fanny snapped out of that great horror between life and death, hurriedly releasing the clamp on Dorothy’s head, and apologizing with self-awareness of being sowhat embarrassing.
Just like so people unconsciously clench their legs when nervous, transford into the hat and mask, Senior Fanny naturally started contracting when anxious; it was a wholly subconscious reaction.
“Uh, did you see your death vision and death date then? Is this door that mystical? Even you can’t escape it?”
Seeing the still sowhat tense appearance of Hat Senior Sister, the Hobody Witch was stunned, and then curiously inquired.
