"What’s wrong with you?!" Janet scread at him but was held by the neck and thrown away while Sam held Lucy’s collar.
"Couldn’t you just keep your mouth shut?! You had to tell Lucian you were a low-tier summoner, and that wasn’t even enough, you went and joined that Godfrey!" He slapped her cheek, harder than the first, rage boiling within him.
He could go along well in his class, but now Derek had abandoned him, and others had turned on him. His life was ruined all because of this unlucky sister of his.
As rage boiled within him, he kept kicking her nonstop, heaving and panting at his sister, who he had beaten to a pulp, before turning to the other student not too far away, filming it all.
"This should be enough to convince others, right?" He faced the student, who was also a junior in the sa class with Sam but with a slightly stronger summon.
He chuckled. "Not enough. Keep going."
Horrified, Janet rushed at Sam only to be slapped hard to the ground.

The next day, Godfrey held the handle of his backpack, which he slung over his shoulder while walking through the massive street filled with students making their way to the school building.
Two white earbuds were in both ears while he looked around, enjoying the fresh morning view. Today was the day Isolde was returning, and he actually didn’t know what to say when he saw her.
While walking, a familiar black car drove in and stopped by the roadside, which had tall cypress trees. A girl with golden-white hair in her dark blue Manhattan High jacket and backpack stepped out.
Her hair was not packed in a ponytail anymore but allowed to gloriously flow down her back and the two sides of her jacket.
It enhanced the strength of her charm.
The sight of her caused a ripple throughout the multitude of students, many of them whispering to themselves, so even felt inferior.
anwhile, Godfrey removed his earbuds, and she also removed hers as they locked eyes with over a hundred ters separating them.
An awkward smile appeared on his face while Isolde revealed an angelic smile.
The driver squinted as he watched Isolde approach Godfrey. "Isn’t he the one Miss Isolde has been seeing in her visions?"
The female bodyguard at the back nodded. "He is." She clicked her tongue as she watched Godfrey embrace Isolde.
"Let’s go."
While the car turned and left, Isolde was flushed, her cheeks bright pink as her eyes danced about. "You’re growing more audacious," she hissed as Godfrey released her.
The envious glances of onlookers were none of his concern. "Why weren’t you online? I called and texted over a dozen tis."
"You forgot to ntion a dozen tis every single day!" Isolde showed him her phone with an amused smile, while Godfrey shalessly squinted.
"That’s not all, you’ll be seeing more."
His response made Isolde chuckle.
"So, what’s your response? Why didn’t you reply?" Godfrey asked again.
"I went to an island, and there’s no connection there, not even electricity. They use firewood, and the houses there are made of wood like dieval houses."
Her response made him raise an eyebrow. "Why did you go there?"
"To ditate. The mana concentration there is extrely high," Isolde replied as they both walked toward the school building.
"Don’t you already have enough mana stored?" Godfrey looked at her.
Isolde shook her head softly. "It’s not enough."
He could see there was an underlying reason she spoke like that in her eyes, and it didn’t seem to make her a bit down.
Godfrey placed his hand around her shoulder, flashing a comforting smile. Isolde smiled, but just then, Jon ca from the east with Yuan, Lilith, and Edric.
Seeing Isolde in Godfrey’s arms made Jon’s face darken, but he hid it and waved his hand. "Isolde!" he called out with a smile.
Isolde paused when she saw him. "Hi, Jon," she said with a light-hearted tone that made Godfrey frown.
When he saw Jon jogging over, he simply continued to walk. At first, Isolde was puzzled, but after calling him several tis and receiving no response, her expression changed.
Godfrey simply walked into the building without a glance. His warm mood changed so suddenly that it was baffling.
The only reason had to be... Jon!
"What did you do to Godfrey?!" she snapped at Jon, who raised an eyebrow. "What did he say I did?"
"Don’t play gas with , Jon. He was fine a mont ago. I don’t want to see you around him anymore. Don’t make repeat myself," Isolde snapped.
Jon’s face beca ugly. "You’re choosing Godfrey over ? I have been with you since elentary school. Everyone thought you had a summon, but I was the only one that knew you had no idea what your first summon truly is. I protected you until you later awakened the dragonfly and the wyvern."
"Jon..." Isolde’s voice softened. "Just don’t hurt my friend."
"I’m not going to spare anyone that wants to take my place," Jon said firmly.
Isolde frowned. "No one is taking your place."
The mont she said that, Jon leaned down, an obvious attempt to peck her. Sensing it, Isolde slamd him backward.
"What are you doing?!" Anger took over Isolde while Jon chuckled furiously.
"Just know I’ll take that arm he put around your shoulder," he said grimly. Isolde flinched as her irises dilated.
Seeing her reaction, Jon smiled. "You’ve seen it, haven’t you? Where I take his arm. Good, that’s proof that nothing is going to stop , not even you."
His eyes sharpened. "Your arrogant friend will fall, and I’ll make sure he knows his place."
Isolde scowled. "I never saw him fall to you." She turned and left while Jon’s expression changed.
Was she saying he lost to Godfrey? It was impossible! He was Manhattan’s King. He was a lord-tier summoner!
"Lilith." He turned to the red-haired girl, who felt glad seeing Jon and Isolde end their conversation on a bad note.
"Keep your eyes on Godfrey. Every move."

A/N: Guys we’ve hit 500 powerstones! I’m trembling right now! Heading for 400 golden ticket like a bullet train and I know we’ll surely hit it!
