anwhile, sitting in the cafeteria wrestling with a spoon and his uncontrollably trembling right hand, Pei Yan had no idea about the earth-shattering changes happening within the agency nor that his sister, whom he thought was thousands of miles away, was actually in the sa building.
Through the glass, Pei Jin looked at her once athletic and energetic brother, now struggling even with eating, and her eyes reddened as she clenched her fists, casting a sharp glance at Yuan Shaoqing beside her.
Feeling the powerful energy emanating from the woman beside him, Yuan Shaoqing quickly waved his hand and said, "It’s not our fault. It was Shen Yu who acted against him. We did everything we could to rescue him."
"Tell his na! Who is it?" Pei Jin demanded coldly.
Yuan Shaoqing furrowed his brows at her deanor and adjusted his tone to speak solemnly, "I advise you not to ask too many questions. I understand your abilities are significant, but there is an unbridgeable gap between you and him. Moreover, as per our agreent, you are to return to a normal life, complying with everything that ’that person’ has planned for you. We will do our utmost to ensure your brother’s safety. If needed, our director will contact you secretly."

Receiving Yuan Shaoqing’s firm assurance, Pei Jin looked through the window at her brother in the cafeteria, sighed heavily, and prepared to leave. Just then, sothing happened to Pei Yan!
After splashing himself several tis while sipping soup, Pei Yan, agitated, slamd the table with his hand, attracting the attention of everyone around. At that mont, a cerulean essence, as if summoned by a similar energy, burst out and enveloped Pei Yan.

"What? What are you talking about?" Pei Yan asked blankly, his mind a jumble from the sudden interruption.
"I asked if you felt your power responding," Wang Wenze inquired, shaking Pei Yan’s shoulder with a frown.
Pei Yan ca to his senses, looked upstairs wistfully, and sighed before glancing at his own hands. "I don’t know if I felt a real response from my power. I didn’t catch any, what’d you call it, nas popping into my head, but I did feel every technological device on this street, and I think I can control them at will."
"That’s amazing! Your power is practically godlike in this world! Don’t worry; with that feeling, you’re not far from truly mastering your ability." Wang Wenze exclaid, his mouth agape, and clapped Pei Yan on the shoulder excitedly!
On the other hand, i Simiao, hurriedly arriving after hearing the news, passed by Yuan Shaoqing asked quietly, "How did it go?"
"It was approved by you, she wanted to take a look at her brother, and unexpectedly that kid’s essence externalized," Yuan Shaoqing replied in a low voice.

He then moved past the two without looking back, but after a mont, they sneakily glanced back to see Xia and Liang, both clinging to the tablet, tense and briskly heading outside the training ground. The sight was amusing enough that they couldn’t help but laugh softly.
As they nearly reached the exit, they heard the sound of laughter from behind. Xia Yu and Liang Qian, understanding imdiately what was going on, quickly ran back. An angry Xia Yu didn’t hesitate to kick Wang Wenze swiftly in the rear.
As she was about to give Pei Yan a thump, he hurriedly waved his hands, pleading, "Go easy on , I’m only half a patient!"
"Patient my foot!" Though she said so, Xia Yu’s hand landed much lighter on Pei Yan’s shoulder, but even that was enough to make Pei Yan wince.
Liang Qian helped Wang Wenze, who was kicked to the side, and whispered, "What really happened? Hurry and tell us!"
Hearing this, Pei Yan glanced around before leading the three of them to a corner of the training ground. Sitting down, he recounted everything from this noon and the conversation after dinner in Elder Lin’s office, including what transpired to him that night.
