Pei Yan had no idea that his unintended misleading actions had sparked a dramatic saga of vendettas and emotional entanglents in the minds of Sifuer and others. Right now, he was not concerned about what kind of sches this group might be contemplating. After entering the residence arranged by Sifuer, he carefully inspected it to ensure there were no problems and set up more than twenty chanical clones and nurous Nanochanical Insects to tightly secure the entire house. Then, he deactivated his chanized state, not even bothering to change his clothes, and collapsed onto the bed.

Currently, almost no part of his skin was in good condition. Originally, his skin had a healthy wheat color due to training, but now it looked like a skin disease had taken over. His entire body was covered with densely packed black spots that made anyone feel nauseous and give them the chills, and the surface of his skin appeared shriveled, parched, and lifeless.

After a while, Pei Yan issued a command through his thoughts. Two chanical clones carried in freshly boiled hot water and cold water. After a series of efforts to adjust the temperature of the water in the bath, suitable for bathing, the two ca to the bedside, positioned themselves on either side, and placed the now half-conscious Pei Yan into the bath.

As soon as his body ca into contact with the warm water in the tub, Pei Yan let out a painful moan. As his body gradually imrsed in the water, his spirits were revitalized, the nearly exhausted vital life force within him began to circulate faster under his deliberate control. His skin condition started improving; the black spots slowly faded away with the constant seepage of black water from the surface, and the dry skin beca smooth and elastic again.

After changing the bathwater three tis, soaking his skin until it turned pale, Pei Yan then dragged his nearly exhausted body back to bed. After issuing a kill-on-sight order to all chanical clones, should anyone dare to approach the residence, he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

"How long have I slept?" Pei Yan sat at the dining table, supporting his swollen head with one hand, while ravenously eating the fried eggs and sausages cooked by the chanical clones, and drinking juice in large gulps, casually asking.

"You have been sleeping for two days and nights since you bathed. If counting from when you entered the room, you have been here for two and a half days," a chanical clone answered calmly, frying and grilling ingredients from Pei Yan’s ring.

Upon hearing this, Pei Yan turned his head to look at the bright sky outside the window. Through his chanical Eye, he could clearly see the shadowy figures furtively peeking into his room from a hundred ters away in the alley. After taking a bite of sausage, he muttered, "Has anything unusual happened these past two days? Has anyone tried to approach the residence?"

"Yes, three groups attempted to co near here but were intercepted. The interceptors even had a fierce skirmish with one of the groups, resulting in one invader’s death."

"Did they co within a hundred-ter range?" Pei Yan asked, grabbing a napkin to wipe his greasy hands and mouth.

"No, no one ca close."

Upon hearing this, Pei Yan nodded in satisfaction. It seems his previous intimidation of Sifuer’s group was effective, as they finally perfectly fulfilled their responsibilities. Notably, Raphael’s dying counterattack inflicted severe damage on him; walking out from that black storm, he was already a spent force, relying only on his previously demonstrated strength to verbally intimidate the opposition.

Fortunately, Sifuer proved her capability and kept her promise; otherwise, Pei Yan wouldn’t hesitate to conduct a bloody purge to maintain his status.

"One more thing, the local population calls it the Red Catastrophe, ended while you were unconscious. Through the surveillance system set up around the refuge, it was reported that after the Red Catastrophe ended, two more groups arrived at the refuge. From the way Sifuer’s subordinates warmly entertained them, it seems they are companions." The chanical clone continued reporting while clearing the table.

"How many have co?" Pei Yan lit a cigarette and lazily leaned back on the sofa, asking.

"Forty-five. Oh! Sorry, the front has just reported that another team entered the refuge, and this ti is different; Bailang himself, who is greatly valued beside Sifuer, personally greeted them. This group totals twenty-seven mbers, counting the previous forty-five, they have added seventy-two people, including thirty-seven humanoids, nineteen beast-like beings, and sixteen unknown creatures."

Listening to the chanical clone, Pei Yan leaned back on the sofa and squinted his eyes in thought for a mont. "With so many people added, has she already beco the largest faction in the refuge? Have you determined the population of the entire town?"

"Based on the current intelligence gathering, the entire refuge houses about twelve thousand five hundred and twenty-three individuals, including seven thousand three hundred fifty-six humanoids from the Demon Race. The rest are non-humanoids, and from these observed non-humanoids over the past few days, about two thousand should be non-combat entities, responsible only for farming and serving so more prominent humanoids of the Demon Race."

Upon hearing this, Pei Yan slightly furrowed his brow: "This town actually has so many people?" Although he already placed nurous surveillance Nanochanical Insects throughout the town to gain a preliminary understanding of its population, hearing the detailed numbers still made him exclaim in surprise.

"Indeed!" The chanical clone nodded and continued, "Regarding whether Sifuer’s faction has beco the largest force, due to the lack of detailed combat power profiles, I cannot provide a judgnt. However, based on the information reported from surveillance, in the days following Raphael’s death, the forces originally affiliated around him and a group of previously unsuccessful individuals displayed signs of secret connection, with five factions forming agreents and rging discreetly. In terms of numbers, Sifuer’s side does not hold the advantage."

"Great! Convey the details of these people." Pei Yan said, slowly closing his eyes, handing over control of his mind to Suzi. Soon, a stream of images and dialogues surged into his mind. This process is quite intriguing; it felt like he was involuntarily fast-forwarding through a movie from a corner. This loss of control over his body is unpleasant; therefore, he usually prefers handling inquiries himself and rarely opts for this mode of information transfer.

After all the images were transmitted, Pei Yan had a rough understanding of the distribution of forces within the town. He felt reassured that despite the nurous populace within the refuge, few possessed ambition and strength. Even though Hell Demon Race possessed physical qualities nearly akin to universal militarization, most of the populace here were refugees escaping from failed battles. They might have the courage to sacrifice for the Demon God to save their dinsion, but do not possess the ambition to engage in power struggles where it’s life and death.
