Injecting controlled magic energy onto the tip of the pen, Sifuer was diligently sketching her new star chart on the desk, occasionally dipping the pen into a bottle filled with crimson liquid emanating a peculiar sll, all attention focused, with no ti to tidy her hair which fell across her temples.

Bailang did not rush to ask Sifuer for her conclusions, instead, he sat on the sofa holding a wine glass, quietly observing his niece fully imrsed in her work. For a mont, he seed to see the shadow of her mother in Sifuer, a kind and loving woman who was a good mother, a good leader, and a rare good person in the survival-of-the-fittest Hell Realm, and hence was considered an anomaly — like a fiercely protective hen defending the rights of her subjects till the end.

Such a pity that she was born at the wrong ti, she was excellent in every aspect except she was not a good strategic commander. Her benevolence made her hesitant, burdened by the old, weak, and sick, causing Kataraga Autonomous Territory to miss the chance to retreat to the Holy City with the main forces.

She was foolish yet also great; that's why Leohard is so loyal to Sifuer, and why Bailang, despite being able to beco the new heir of Kataraga Autonomous Territory, gave up that right. The woman he admired who eventually married his brother sacrificed her life at the most critical mont to redeem her mistakes, paving the way for the entire army to escape the encirclent.

"What is he so anxious about?" Sifuer's words interrupted Bailang's reminiscence. With a pen nib in her mouth, she murmured softly, and upon seeing this, Bailang couldn't help but chuckle softly and follow her lead, "What is he so anxious about?"

"As he ntioned, in terms of the developing situation, we should be the ones truly anxious, yet he seems even more eager to go to war than us." Sifuer put down her pen, scrutinizing the star chart she had drawn, while lifting her scattered hair as she continued, "His anxiety stems from two possibilities: either he received new intelligence upon returning, other planes are feeling imnse pressure from the Disaster Legion's threat, hurriedly seeking to expand victories in Hell Plane to delay their advance; or he wants to gain benefits from this war for himself."

Sitting on the sofa and tapping her forehead with the pen, Sifuer murmured, "But I can't comprehend what tangible benefits he could gain from destroying the Disaster Legion."

"The Demon God Core?"

"It's possible, uncle. Today's performance by Shitang confirms our previous speculation; he definitely has connections with our clan. There are talent sources from Humanity of the Foundation Plane, so from the Magic Realm, so from the Daoist Realm, and oh, occasionally animals awakened through the Spirit Monster Realm, but none from our Hell Realm, why? Because their constitution cannot withstand the long-term erosion of death force, this is inherently unchangeable!"

Sifuer seed to comprehend sothing, knocking the pen on the table with delight, "Seeing his greedy gaze toward the Demon God Core today, there wasn't a trace of fear in him. This force, poison to other planes, is like nectar in his eyes. He desires this power to strengthen or restore his own might!"

"But if that's truly the case, why is he so indifferent to the fate of his kin, rcilessly suppressing and humiliating them?" Bailang questioned with doubt, then answered himself, "The pride of a Demon God Nobility!"

"Exactly! Unlike my mother, the oldest Demon God descendants among the nobility have never cared about the lives of civilian Demon Race; they only care about their family interests. Moreover, a descendant exiled to a foreign plane would inevitably harbor resentnt against us; this is understandable." Sifuer found her speculation increasingly convincing, and she stood up excitedly, pacing, "That's why he's so eager to plunge into battle now. He needs the Demon God Core to strengthen his power, and he needs military achievents to make up for his mistakes. If he succeeds, he could gain the favor of the Demon God, and even the gravest errors could be forgiven then!"

Bailang pondered for a while, then said with partial doubt and acceptance, "Your speculation is not without reason, but it doesn't explain his complete ignorance of our Demon Race environnt. Could it be that his mories are sealed, or perhaps he is the child born of a demon descendant and ordinary human refugee from the Foundation Plane, hence why he knows nothing?"

"Is that possible?" Sifuer stared into her uncle's eyes, questioning.

"The possibility is very small; individuals from other planes can scarcely endure our death force, and children birthed are highly likely to die young early on, but it's not without precedent. If so, it explains why his demon lineage awakened during his confrontation with Raphael, unlocking his inherited mories." Bailang said, tapping his wine glass as he continued, "So, he's urgently returning to the Foundation Plane, likely to verify the authenticity of his mories with his father. This explains both his agitation and his probing anger towards us."

The image of a son eagerly trying to make achievents to clear his father's na, yet continually obstructed by ignorant rabble from other planes, and even by his blood relatives, a sad and unjust picture gradually ford in Bailang and Sifuer's mind. For a mont, Bailang himself felt what he might have done seed sowhat excessive.

Reflecting on this, Bailang raised his head to look at Sifuer and asked, "So, what do you plan to do next?"

"Regardless of the truth, their desire to attack the Disaster Legion is at least strong, aligning with our goals. We have no reason to hinder them now; when the situation is favorable to us, we should offer the greatest support." Sifuer picked up the star chart from the table and walked to her uncle, continuing, "Let our people keep investigating the nobility fitting Shitang's profile. Letting him take the initiative for now poses no harm. Shouldn't we let him take the lead temporarily? Not forgetting he highly likely belongs to our Demon Race lineage; even if not, as the conflict intensifies, the Holy City will dispatch the Demon Royal Guard to investigate. Uncle, leveraging our family's connections in Holy City, claiming control over this force in due ti wouldn't be difficult."

Listening to Sifuer's decision, Bailang nodded in satisfaction, taking the chart from her hand, "I will send soone to handle it. Hmm? Using such a star chart now seems a bit premature, doesn't it, Sifuer?"

"Uncle, I ought to step forward while I can; I won't grow sheltered under your protection forever." Sifuer said, touching her chest as she recalled Hel's tornted plight and said hatefully, "That Shitang, though a bastard, made recognize one more truth — only one's strength can protect those they wish to protect, just like my mother!"
