As he said this, Pei Yan collected the energy in his hand, chuckling lightly, "Otherwise, even if you accidentally obtain other dinsional origin fragnts and risk absorbing them, they will rely be trees without roots, water without source, only giving you temporary energy which will disperse once the fragnt's origin is depleted and then beco useless."
At this point, Pei Yan couldn't help but recall Su Xiang. He initially agreed to help him acquire Demon Race fragnts precisely because he understood this principle. However, the current situation had changed, as he seed to be able to achieve more with dinsional fragnts. Thinking of this, Pei Yan subconsciously touched his right eye, a fervent anticipation rising in his heart.
"But you have already exchanged so many fragnts with my race, even with a two-for-one deal, you shouldn't be so stingy," Xila shrugged at Pei Yan's words, her frosty appearance showing a rare display of silly deanor as she bargained.
"Hmph, these were earned by my brother and through blood, sweat, and sacrifice," Pei Yan, unfazed by this act, leaned forward with a mocking tone, "If one day our cornerstone plane suffers calamity, and you too co to sacrifice to save us, at that ti, if you demand a dozen or so origin fragnts, we would have no choice but to grudgingly agree."

At this, Xila's expression instantly turned icy with killing intent. In Pei Yan's mind, Jun Zhao's whisper echoed, and after a mont, Pei Yan put on a pained expression, his tone shifting to regret as he said, "But now, since we face a common enemy, in light of the friendship forged in fighting side by side, I am willing to give an extra two origin fragnts containing laws as gifts."

She couldn't fathom how a candidate chosen by the origin of a dinsional plane could have such a vulgar and disgraceful attitude. After several deep breaths to quell her anger, she gritted out, "Ten is impossible, too many!"
"Negotiate another price; I'm not fixed on it."
"One fragnt!"
"Are you crazy! What kind of bargaining is that, slashing it to the bone! Eight fragnts!"
"Three fragnts!"
"Seven fragnts!"
"Five, no more!"
"Deal, five origin fragnts must all contain laws!"
"You're the real demon here!"
As Pei Yan finalized the agreent for five fragnts, he didn't care how the person in front of him thought of him. In a good mood, he gestured outward, "How do we settle their matters?"

Faced with Pei Yan's unyielding stance, Xila lightly nodded, "Setting an example, yes, the term is apt, but exterminating entire clans brings widespread implications and could stir backlash from the erging nobles."
"The two main offenders must face punishnt. As for the other four high-ranking ones?" Pei Yan thought for a mont and continued, "I want the Demon God to order them handed over to , granting control over their life and death, subject to my command.
