"The first condition is the matter that the one inside my body discussed with your father earlier. Have you found a solution?" Pei Yan asked with hopeful eyes, ntioning the first requirent Lin Junzhao had told him.
Xila sized up Pei Yan before responding sarcastically, "I really think you're a greedy person. You already possess my father's Power of Origin, and now you want to learn the Secret Technique of my clan? Isn't that a bit too greedy?"
"Greedy? Am I greedy for exchanging reasonable conditions for resources? If you had a chance to beco stronger, wouldn't you seize it? Stop with the nonsense. Can it be done or not?" Pei Yan retorted with impatience, snorting coldly.
"It's difficult. The reason you can't harness the various transformations of the power of death is because, by blood, you are not of the Demon Race. Do you know why the direct noble descendants stand above others in this world? It's because they are the offspring of the strongest local demon won from the Hell Plane and my father when he possessed humans and activated their Bloodline Power in his youth. Their descendants have the bloodlines of two powerful entities, making them more attuned to the power of death and enabling them to advance faster. Yet, you lack even the bloodline of an ordinary demon and still wish to master our clan's Secret Technique?" Xila ended her explanation by playfully reaching to stroke the top of Pei Yan's head, which had no demon horns.
Pei Yan leaned back to dodge Xila's hand and was indifferent to the lengthy explanation. Instead, he focused on what was important and retorted, "You said it's difficult but not impossible, right? Tell your solution!"
Seeing her attempt fail, Xila retracted her hand in frustration and explained, "The first thod is for you to go to the Holy City and have my father personally convert the bloodline in your body. Though troubleso and consuming a great deal of my father's energy, the benefit is that you will no longer feel any hindrance when channeling the power of death." Xila looked at Pei Yan with a half-smile and continued, "But I don't think you'll agree because if you did, you'd essentially beco my father's child by blood. Previously, you were even reluctant to change your title, so would you really accept this thod?"
"Let's hear the second option then!" Just as Xila expected, Pei Yan dismissed this proposal without a second thought, driven not only by pride and emotional factors but also by the belief that the risks, including potential subjugation, were too high.
"The second thod is more complex! As you can see, due to your actions, several major clans in the Holy City underwent a purge. Among them, only the Dieterma Clan carved its place through its own efforts, while the other two clans had my father's bloodline.
