"Night Falls!" As he spoke, Flal swiftly retreated, releasing two streams of dark, ink-like source energy from rings on both of his hands. Through the course of the battle, he had discovered that Ye Ruozai couldn't absorb attacks from sacred or dark non-natural elents, thus these two forbidden spells were enough to trap him for a while.
As the spell was cast, Ye Ruozai, who had just been dominating the field, suddenly found himself trapped in the center of the arena by two relatively small but dark and viscous masses of source energy. He seed to be struggling continuously to break free, but to the spectators, he appeared to be circling within the two masses without ever leaving his tiny foothold.
Having temporarily restricted Ye Ruozai's range of movent, Flal leaped far away and began tracing lines in the air while incessantly chanting incantations—a first since his appearance. The effectiveness of this move was surely extraordinary, and it instantly piqued the interest of the entire audience, who pressed against the wall to watch the upcoming showdown.
Flal clapped his hands together forcefully, then spread them to the sides, tearing open two spatial rifts in mid-air. From these rifts, one on the left and one on the right, two silhouettes drifted out.
Upon seeing the two silhouettes, expressions of anticipation turned awkward and then angry on the spectators' faces—sothing that didn't happen among those inside the investigation hall.
