Chloe Reed chuckled. She sighed softly and said, "But I don’t want to drag you into this. When Walker Grant goes crazy, he’ll turn on anyone, even family."
Miles Hawthorne fell silent, and for a mont, neither of them spoke.
After a mont, Miles Hawthorne said, "Chloe Reed, we were classmates, after all. You need help, and as a forr classmate, I want to give it."

"Okay," Miles Hawthorne replied. "I’ve already prepared the paperwork. Since you’re determined to file, I’ll have soone submit it to the court. The next step is the court will send a diator to speak with both of you. It’ll all be out in the open then, so be ntally prepared."
"Okay," Chloe Reed agreed, then added with heartfelt gratitude, "Miles Hawthorne, thank you."

After the call ended, Chloe Reed slowly let out a long breath.

Madam Grant had been forcibly taken for a check-up. She was indeed showing signs of an episode, but her symptoms subsided sowhat after she took her dication.
When she was sent back to the Grant Family Estate, her expression was dark.
Judith Pierce was playing with Noah. When she saw Madam Grant return looking so displeased, she remarked, "I told you not to get involved in the young couple’s business, but you just wouldn’t listen."
Madam Grant shot her a frosty glare and snorted. "And isn’t that because you’re useless? You can’t even control your own son, letting him cause such a huge incident. Now the whole world is laughing at the Grant family!"
Judith Pierce said dismissively, "Mother, with you here at ho, no one would dare laugh to your face."

Madam Grant didn’t say anything else. Noah was still there, after all. Exhausted, she returned to her room.
Nanny Lawrence, who was in charge of caring for Madam Grant, followed her in. Seeing Madam Grant’s foul expression, she said, "Old Madam, when you get right down to it, the problem is the Second Young Mistress. She’s so undignified, always causing such ugly scenes. Madam Grant said, her head throbbing, "That brat Walker just won’t agree to a divorce. What am I supposed to do?"
Nanny Lawrence’s eyes darted. "Then we’ll have to find a way to make him want the divorce. Old Madam, if sothing were to... happen to the Second Young Mistress... do you think the Second Young Master would still want her?"
Madam Grant gave her a chilly look and waved a dismissive hand. "That’s enough. You may go."
Nanny Lawrence replied, "Yes."
