Chloe Reed’s breath hitched, her body growing slightly stiff.
Walker Grant placed her on the bed. His heated presence enveloped her as he propped himself up above her, gazing at her sleepy expression.
"Leaving?"
He asked in a low voice, his body slowly lowering. His unique, clean scent enveloped her, wrapping around her completely, inch by inch.
Chloe’s fingers curled. Seeing his unhurried deanor, she frowned slightly and said, "If you’re going to do it, do it quickly. Quit stalling. Are you a man or not?"
"Heh..."
Walker Grant scoffed. "Wouldn’t you know best whether I’m a man or not?"
Unlike his usual fiery passion, he approached her slowly. His nose gently brushed against her cheek, and his lips ghosted over the corner of hers.
A fleeting touch.
There was no solid contact, yet his presence constantly enveloped her.
He was slowly turning up the heat.
At his touch, a faint pink blush spread across her fair skin. She had just showered, and a light, warm fragrance clung to her. Her long hair fanned out across the bed like seaweed.
Chloe instinctively pushed him. "If you’re not going to do it, then I’m leaving."
"Who said I wasn’t going to?"
Walker Grant pinned her wrists, planting one kiss after another on her.
"I want to go slow today. Are you in a hurry?"
He punctuated each word with a kiss, his long, dark eyes fixed on her, observing her every reaction.
Chloe’s breathing trembled. She knew she was outmatched.
So she simply closed her eyes, no longer looking at him, no longer rushing him.
But Walker Grant was undeterred by her surrender. He knew all her sensitive spots. As his fingertips kneaded and teased, her body began to tremble.
Chloe’s delicate brows furrowed, and even her ears flushed red.
’This despicable man!’
He seed to be in a playful mood, in no rush to get to the main event, content to simply observe her reactions.
Watching her tremble under his touch seed to bring him even more pleasure.
But Chloe hated this feeling.
Unable to bear it any longer, she opened her eyes.
Walker Grant raised an eyebrow. "What? Are you going to hit ?"
He glanced at her hands, already prepared to grab her wrists.
But in the next second, Chloe suddenly lifted her head and pressed her lips directly to his.
He froze.
Her kiss was desperate, her soft lips capturing his. Her arms snaked around his neck, pulling him down on top of her.
The faint, warm scent of her body swirled around him, tangling with his.
Walker Grant’s eyes went blank for a mont before he seized control, deepening the kiss.
His earlier unhurried, confident deanor was shattered by her kiss.
Things began to spiral out of control.
When they were finished, Walker Grant held her close and gave her a firm nip. "You cheated," he said, his voice hoarse.
Chloe pushed him away, about to get out of bed.
But Walker Grant pulled her back into his arms. "Don’t go. You’re sleeping here tonight."
"If I sleep here, all I’ll rember are the countless tis you got a call from Sunny Reed and left imdiately, no matter what we were doing." Chloe’s breathing was still ragged, but her words were ice-cold. "Do you want to have a sleepless night?"
The arm around her waist tightened.
Walker Grant kissed her again. "If your mind is going to wander, then we’ll just have to keep going. I’ll make sure you don’t have ti to think at all."
