Simon Forrester, dressed in a well-tailored dark space gray suit, as usual, with a white French shirt and a polka dot tie of the sa color, stood straight outside the dance studio door with one hand in his pocket, exuding an elite aura that was out of place with the atmosphere of the scene.
Sienna Thornton walked up to him barefoot.
The dim lighting cast a shadow on his face, obscuring his expression. She could only vaguely see a hint of an indescribable smile at the corner of his lips.
She raised her eyebrows slightly, extended her hand, and asked with a smile, "Where’s the stuff?"
"In the car," his eyes were intense, and he nodded slightly toward the elevator, "want to go down with to get it?"
Sienna withdrew her hand, her smile deepening as she teased, "You’re returning clothes you borrowed on the sa day, but you’ve dragged it out until today. Are you planning sothing?"
He chuckled, the smile on his lips growing deeper, "Seeing that no one’s asked you out, I’m inviting you to dinner."
Not having seen him for six months, his way of inviting soone out is still just as annoying. Sienna just wanted to laugh inside, but she didn’t want him to misunderstand her as being happy, so she pretended to be indifferent. Yet, the dimples on her cheeks betrayed her.
Simon chuckled silently, took a few long strides inside the door, bent down to pick up her high heels that were lying at the side, and gently placed them at her feet, "Ready to go?"
The elevator descended, the man and the woman stood side by side, their seemingly calm gazes each hiding turbulent emotions.
A few minutes later, the black S90 and the red-bodied, black-topped Mini Cooper both entered the main road, rging into the sparkling traffic of the night.
Both cars were speeding, taking the overpass one after another, then exiting midway, leaving the main traffic, exiting the ramp, heading toward the seaside close to the Brimfield New District.
The S90 stopped first in front of a yacht-style building at the seaside. Simon got out of the car and waited for a while. When the Mini stopped, he walked up to open the car door for Sienna.
Very gentlemanly and polite.
Sienna got out of the car, and in front of her was a luxurious, gigantic yacht-like building, with many luxury cars parked outside.
Simon Forrester: "Care to grab a bite?"
Looking at this at least four-figure per person high-end restaurant, she was incredulous, "Grab a bite?"
"Where isn’t it just grabbing a bite, besides at ho?"
Both of them entered a private room. The environnt was elegant, the lighting was soft, the soundproofing was good, and the air was fragrant without any miscellaneous odors.
After sitting down, Sienna casually asked, "When will you go to The Northeast again?"
Simon took off his suit jacket, sat down, and loosened his tie, "There’s no plan for now, unless there’s an ergency."
Sienna was curious, "Didn’t you say before that you’d be stationed there for several years?"
"Later, Hawthorne did so calculations and found they couldn’t afford to keep stationed for several years, so they sent back."
His tone was relaxed, not telling Sienna that over the past six months, he had been working almost overcapacity, completing work originally scheduled for a year in just six months.
Sienna didn’t dwell on it and instead asked, "What happened to the fan who caused trouble at the ribbon-cutting ceremony?"
"The police educated them for two days and then let their parents take them back ho."
When it first happened, Simon, who was a neat freak and vengeful, was so angry that he wanted to pursue full responsibility. But later, because of this matter, he almost kissed Sienna, which lifted his spirits so much that he asked Harrison Rowe to go to the police station and let the person be released.
Sienna naturally didn’t know about this. From her perspective, this wasn’t a big deal, so there was no need to waste ti going through legal procedures.
Simon had said to just grab a bite, and he indeed only had so sashimi and tea. Not eating anymore, Sienna didn’t want to be impolite and indulge alone.
The waiter cleared the dishes and served two cups of Maojian tea.
The clock on the wall pointed to ten, and Sienna felt a bit sleepy, doing her best to sit up straight.
She occasionally glanced at Simon sitting across from her.
The soft and warm overhead light cast a glow over him, making his skin look fair and his features handso. His thick brown hair was slightly shorter than six months ago. At the mont, his long fingers held a teacup tinged with light green, sending it from ti to ti to his pink lips for a sip.
Even drinking tea, it was restrained enough to make one’s heart race.
Sienna ca out tonight because she finally realized that relationships were built over ti, just like Simon once said, "Give each other so ti; give each other a chance."
Compared to the impatient desire for each other’s bodies in a hidden and safe room, she preferred interacting under the sky.
The private room was quiet, occasionally hearing the sound of footsteps outside, the sea breeze blowing outside, making the sumr seaside particularly enchanting.

"Sienna Thornton..." Simon suddenly called her na, full na included.
In her mory, this was the second ti he had called her that way. Apart from his initial few polite "Lawyer Thornton," she almost couldn’t rember him calling her anything else.
Sienna ca back to her senses, looking at him, "Hmm? What is it?"
He suddenly asked out of nowhere, "Do you have a nickna?"
Sienna thought for a mont and said, "Yes, my mom calls ’Annie.’"
He smiled slightly, and when he looked at her, his gaze was particularly serious, "How about I give you a nickna? Only I can call you that."
Sienna shrugged, indicating she had no problem with it.
Without hesitation, he called out, "Candy." Before Sienna could react, he added, "Only I can call you that."
Sienna didn’t object but asked, "Why ’Candy’? Why not ’Hilary’?"
Simon didn’t answer, instead saying, "I’ll tell you later."
Having settled on the nickna, he asked, "Do you get two days off a week?"
Sienna nodded.
He said, "What do you usually plan to do during those two days?"
"I guess I’ll help out at ’Seaman’s Bistro.’"
"I quite like it over there too, planning to spend weekends there from now on."
Sienna: "..." She suddenly recalled the year-long room subscription he had invested in and asked, "So, you an...?"
Simon gazed at her, not answering directly, but asked instead, "Can’t you tell I’m pursuing you?"
Sienna laughed for a good while before stopping. She took a sip of the Maojian tea, waiting for the warm tea to roll through her heart and lungs, suppressing her wildly beating heart, then asked, "How many tis have you dated?"
Implying his inexperience.
