"Still up?"
Sienna Thornton knew it was Simon Forrester.
His voice was distinctive, deep, yet with a hint of tenderness, especially in such a night that weighed heavily on the mood.
"I like this corner that feels like a viewing platform," Sienna didn’t turn around, doing her best to sound light and cheerful despite her gloom, "so, may I borrow your living room?"
"Of course," A glass of milk suddenly appeared in front of her, "Care for so milk?"
Simon lay on the other side of the recliner, his fingers holding the clear glass were long and fair, with neatly trimd nails, very pleasant to look at.
"No, thanks," Sienna slowly moved her gaze to his face.
Simon smiled, the milk glass touched his warm lips, the milky white liquid slowly slid from his mouth to his esophagus.
Seeing his alluring Adam’s apple moving under the fair skin of his neck, Sienna felt a jolt, and sowhat uneasily looked away.
"Can’t sleep, are you worried about your daughter’s safety?"
Sienna was taken aback, then smiled as if coming to her senses, "Mrs. Reed wouldn’t harm a little kitten, right?"
"A cat?"
"Yes, Laura is a very cute ragdoll cat, she’s been with for many years, like my own daughter."
"..." Simon did not reply, after a mont, he mockingly curled his lips and drained the glass of milk.

Sienna looked down at herself, wearing the sa clothes from yesterday, and asked, "Was it you who helped to bed last night?"
"No, you told to go ahead last night, so I went to sleep in the next room, slept till daylight."
"Then it must have been who groggily got to bed in the middle of the night," Sienna patted her groggy head and glanced at the ti on her phone, "It’s almost noon."
"Yes, get up and wash up, I’ve already prepared lunch." Auntie King diligently assisted Sienna in getting up, helped her change clothes, washed up, and then helped her to the dining area.
Four dishes beneficial for bone fracture recovery were laid out on the table, Sienna took a spoonful of beef and tomato soup and remarked, "This is great!"
Auntie King then added so more soup for her.
"Lawyer Thornton, with the weather getting chilly suddenly, I’d like to take a few days off to go back and get so clothes for the change of seasons."
