Sienna Thornton nodded, pursing her lips: "Hello, Ronan. Have you had lunch?"

"I have!" Ronan Grant casually plopped down opposite Simon Forrester and the others. "Cyrus, what ti are you heading back today?"

"We’re staying here overnight, heading back tomorrow evening."

Hearing this, Ronan bead, "Great! Let’s hang out tonight!"

Simon Forrester shot him a look, and Ronan imdiately got the hint and shut his mouth.

Sienna Thornton observed their little exchange, letting out a silent, cold snort, then smiled and asked Ronan, "Where are you planning to go tonight? Mind if I tag along?"

Ronan stamred, "...Not really going anywhere... just going for so tea!"

There were many teahouses along Serene Lake near the old mansion, but at night, that area also had a good number of small bars. Sienna Thornton quickly guessed that Simon Forrester and Ronan had frequented the nearby bars before.

It made sense; fun-loving Ronan, who was so attached to Simon Forrester, who was seven or eight years older, was probably brought along for fun by Simon, and maybe even introduced to entertainnt venues by him.

She could even imagine what Simon Forrester was like in his younger days by looking at Ronan now.

Sienna Thornton decided to interrogate them tonight.

.

"What brings you here today?" Simon Forrester queried Ronan with a hint of undisguisable irritation, "Have you got your diploma?"

Ronan let out a dry laugh, "Why bring that up? It’s not like a diploma is that useful these days. I’m managing thousands of people now!"

Simon Forrester, "... Without your dad, with just a high school diploma, you’d only qualify as a security guard!"

Ronan retorted, "Security guard? I could sell drinks at a bar! With my looks and physique, I’d definitely be a headliner as soon as I start! Those older ladies would all order drinks from , I’d sell tons overnight, earning myself a few thousand, a huge profit!"

He burst out laughing, as if talking about so grand enterprise.

Simon Forrester: "..."

Sienna Thornton: "..."

Simon Forrester, afraid Ronan might spill more, shot him a disapproving glance, displeased: "Enough, enough, go back and take a nap! Sleep more and recharge your brain!"

Ronan’s exuberance faded, "I can’t go back now..."

"Why not?"

"My aunt and uncle are there! They’ve been arguing forever, so I couldn’t stand it and ran out!"

Sienna Thornton instinctively asked, "Is your uncle Dean Thorne?"

"Yes!" Ronan said listlessly, "Seems like they’re talking about divorcing!"

Simon Forrester: "..."

Sienna Thornton: "..."

Simon Forrester snapped out of it first, standing up and motioning Ronan, "Co on, let’s go over and take a look!"

Then he turned to Sienna Thornton, "In case Uncle Grant can’t handle it, unlike Grandpa Forrester, I better go check in. You stay here and watch TV."

"Alright." Sienna Thornton nodded.

While she was curious, she knew the Grants’ matters weren’t sothing she should ddle in and wisely refrained from suggesting she join.

.

Simon Forrester and Ronan Grant left the Forrester Family’s courtyard but didn’t head straight into the adjoining Grant Family’s house; instead, they stepped onto the street.

Ronan asked, "Bro, where are you taking ? Weren’t you going to Grandma’s house?"

Simon didn’t answer, glancing around to make sure there were no familiar faces, pulled Ronan aside and lowered his voice, "What’s causing your uncle and aunt to divorce?"

"Seems like my uncle got caught by my aunt with other won."

Simon Forrester, surprised, pressed on, "Did they ntion who it was? Did your aunt show any evidence?"

Ronan recalled, "No nas ntioned, just that there were many! Evidence was there! My aunt had tons of photos of my uncle taken and spread them all over!"

"Many?" Simon Forrester seed to understand sothing, "Did they say who they were?"

"Heard that they were colleagues and classmates... That’s all I know."

Simon Forrester pondered by the roadside for a while and decided to head back.

Ronan followed, "Right, bro! What’s up with you? Last ti you asked for my cousin’s picture, I thought you broke up with Ms. Thornton!"

Simon Forrester, not looking back, said, "When did we break up? I needed your cousin’s photo to introduce her to soone!"

Ronan, scratching his head, "Oh, I see! I misunderstood!"

Simon Forrester reached the entrance of the Forrester old mansion, just stepping into the threshold before he turned around suddenly, almost colliding with the inattentive Ronan.

He warned Ronan in a low voice, "Don’t ntion asking for your cousin’s photo in front of Ms. Thornton! Otherwise, I won’t take you out to play next ti!"

Ronan nodded compliantly, following Simon into the mansion.

Sienna Thornton was surprised to see them return so quickly and asked, "Back so soon? Is Grandpa Grant okay?"

Simon Forrester, "We didn’t go in, just got to the door and felt it wasn’t fitting to enter."

"Oh, I see." Sienna Thornton nodded, inviting Ronan to sit.

The three watched so TV and then moved to the yard to play card gas.

Sienna Thornton, having lost to Simon Forrester last ti, had gone back to study card strategies diligently, and today, she wasn’t losing to Simon.

And Simon Forrester, skilled at card counting himself, it led to Ronan nearly losing everything.

Around three o’clock, Old Master Forrester woke from his nap and picked up his birdcage, planning to visit Uncle Grant next door for a stroll in the park, but when he reached for the birdcage, Ronan called out to him, "Grandpa Forrester, don’t go over! My grandpa is busy and can’t go for a stroll!"

Hearing that the usually free little buddy was busy, Old Master Forrester approached, concerned, "What’s your grandpa busy with?"

Ronan, candidly, "My aunt’s getting a divorce! They’re diating at my grandpa’s right now!"

Old Master Forrester gasped, looking at his grandson with concern.

Simon Forrester nodded subtly, suggesting, "Grandpa, since you’re an elder, maybe you should go take a look?"

Understanding, Old Master Forrester hung the birdcage back on the tree and headed to the Grant house next door.

.

At the entrance of the Grant ho were Quentin Thorne’s black Audi and Ian Grant’s white BMW, parked separately.

Old Master Forrester knew right away that Quentin Thorne and his wife were likely living apart.

He knocked on the Grant’s door, and when the servant, familiar with the Forrester elder’s frequent visits, opened it, they let Old Master Forrester in without any hindrance.
