The two of them talked for a while about Simon Forrester’s career change.
Simon Forrester’s plan was that after recovering from his illness, he would wrap up the Hawthorne project in The Northeast, hand over the design firm to Logan Lockwood, step down from his role as director of SY Architectural Design Firm, but still keep the title of design consultant. After that, he intended to return to the Forrester Group to take over.
Although aware that The Forresters was a ss, because this day would co sooner or later, Sienna Thornton did not stop Simon Forrester, only asking him to rest at ho for at least three months before coming back.
Later on, they discussed their wedding plans. They planned to set off for Europe once Simon Forrester was three months into his recovery, right before Christmas Eve, to first prepare the wedding attire, rings, wedding photos, and wedding favors, then return ho to arrange the wedding.

Simon Forrester suddenly thought of Quentin Thorne, and he thought that when he returned, he should find ti to et Quentin Thorne and inform him that he and Sienna Thornton were planning to get married.
If Quentin Thorne planned to reconcile with Sienna Thornton before the wedding, and if this process took ti, Simon Forrester was willing to wait, after all, he hoped Sienna Thornton wouldn’t have any regrets at this important mont in her life.

Once they had mostly settled everything, Sienna Thornton suddenly rembered eting Jane Jefferson the day before, and seeing that Simon Forrester was in good spirits, she brought it up.
Upon hearing that Jane Jefferson claid to be pregnant with his child, Simon Forrester’s complexion imdiately turned ugly and he exclaid, "Is that woman crazy?"
Sienna Thornton looked serious: "Yesterday, she said she wanted to keep the child, then she said she wished us happiness, appearing not to fight but actually trying to use this to drive a wedge between us. Her belly will grow bigger by the day, and if she constantly shows up in front of , I might not be able to take it and break up with you. Even if I manage to endure it for ten months, once she gives birth and claims the child is yours, even if I can bear it, the voices around us will severely damage our relationship."
Simon Forrester was so angry that his face changed, and he picked up the phone from beside him to make a call.
Sienna Thornton stopped him: "What are you doing?"
"I’m getting Thomas Reed to deal with this crazy woman!"

He was too shocked, feeling both angry and frustrated, lying on the bed, staring blankly for a while, slowly calming down: "Is there really no way to deal with that crazy woman?"
Sienna Thornton also felt helpless: "We can only ignore her, as long as we know the child isn’t yours. Let her say whatever she wants, it’s her mouth. Of course, if her claims cause you or the Forrester Group any loss, then I have grounds to sue her, but I don’t think she’ll give us that opportunity."
"I shouldn’t have trusted her words back then!" Simon Forrester was so regretful, "I let that crazy woman take advantage of and stress you out!"
Unlike Simon Forrester’s anger, Sienna Thornton didn’t think this incident affected their relationship. It wasn’t Simon Forrester’s fault. She still had a lot of trust between herself and Simon Forrester.
She comforted him: "You were just worried about Partner Reed, after all, you two are like brothers, you didn’t do anything wrong, she was the one with ill intentions."

A month ago, Simon Forrester received a call from Jane Jefferson saying that Thomas Reed had overdosed on drugs at a hotel and was unconscious, and she asked him to go over quickly.
On the phone, Simon Forrester imdiately asked Jane Jefferson to call an ambulance, but she said that if he was taken to the hospital, the police would get involved, and Thomas Reed’s future would be ruined.
Simon Forrester had no choice but to rush to the hotel, and upon entering the room, was told that Thomas Reed had later woken up and locked himself in the bathroom.
Fearing Thomas Reed might do sothing stupid while not in his right mind, Simon Forrester imdiately broke down the door, and after so ti, managed to break it open, only to find the bathroom empty, the window wide open. Jane Jefferson ran to the window, saying Thomas Reed’s car parked below was gone, he must have jumped out and fled.
This was when Simon Forrester felt sothing was wrong and took out his phone to call Thomas Reed, but was prompted that the phone was off. Unable to reach Thomas Reed, he couldn’t imdiately ascertain the truth of Jane Jefferson’s words.
While he was contacting all of Thomas Reed’s close friends to no avail and was about to leave the hotel to search, Jane Jefferson pleaded with him not to tell Sienna Thornton.
She explained that Thomas Reed was distressed and turned to drug use because he couldn’t be with Sienna Thornton, and she didn’t want this to beco a burden on Sienna Thornton’s mind, potentially affecting Simon Forrester’s relationship with her.
Her attitude was sincere, and every word seed to consider Simon Forrester and Sienna Thornton. Thinking that Simon Forrester might mind Thomas Reed’s previous feelings for Sienna Thornton, she assud he would keep it from Sienna, but to her surprise, he told Sienna about it that very night.
Upon hearing this, Sienna imdiately found it strange. From what she knew of Thomas Reed, he wasn’t the kind of man who would turn to drugs over an unrequited love.
They spent the whole night trying to contact Thomas Reed and finally got in touch with him late that night after he got off a flight. It turned out he had flown to Briton during the day and had his phone off.
Simon Forrester inford Thomas Reed of what happened that day and told him to look into the matter. A few days later, the news of Thomas Reed breaking up with Jane Jefferson surfaced.
So when Jane Jefferson sent photos to Sienna Thornton and claid she was pregnant with Simon Forrester’s child, although Sienna was shocked and angry, she didn’t have a shred of doubt about Simon Forrester.
However, this incident trapped Sienna Thornton and Simon Forrester in a deadlock.
As Sienna Thornton explained to Simon Forrester, unless Jane Jefferson was after the Forrester’s money or intended for the child to be a part of the Forrester household, they wouldn’t be able to demand she do a paternity test.
Proving a man hasn’t had a relationship with a woman is extrely difficult. Although Simon Forrester didn’t need to prove his innocence, public opinion could tarnish his image.
Just the thought of rumors spreading years later in Brimfield about Simon Forrester having an illegitimate child; or strangers telling their children - ’You have a half-brother or sister’, drove Sienna to the brink of insanity.
She never imagined she’d have to deal with sothing so ugly and yet so helpless with Simon Forrester.
