They planned to spend their last day in Luria visiting Shakespeare and Company to experience the century-old arts and romance of Paris; they went to see the romantic Wall of Love in Montmartre, stumbled upon the café from the movie "Amélie" around a street corner, enjoyed a coffee, and imagined the artists creating their masterpieces here a century ago; at night, they took a bus through The Louvre, watching the glass pyramid shine with a dreamy, enchanting light under the night sky.

Sienna Thornton was utterly enamored with this city. She said she didn’t want to leave and wished to stay another day. Simon Forrester complied with her wishes, and so they stayed in Paris another day.

Returning from The Louvre, they went to Luria’s oldest bar, Harry’s New York Bar.

At first, Sienna Thornton only wanted to drink a little beer, fearing that getting too drunk would hinder their plans. But as she drank, she indulged in a few more cocktails with varying alcohol levels and, not being able to hold her liquor well, was thoroughly drunk.

The swirling world, the bustling bar suddenly transford into the silent hotel room, and the next mont, she and Simon stood on a balcony with a view of the Aerodyne Tower.

In the distance, the Aerodyne Tower was splendid, bright, and srizing. Sienna Thornton gazed in a daze, an inexplicable emotion swelling inside her, causing her to nestle tightly against Simon Forrester.

Simon Forrester looked down at her, his bright amber eyes reflecting her rosy cheeks. His gaze was deep and unfathomable.

They had both drunk, slightly intoxicated, yet it was just the right amount; in such a lovely, intimate night, in the romantic night of Luria, looking at the tower, it was a unique kind of pleasure.

.

The next day at noon, Sienna Thornton woke up still in a daze; the spot beside her was empty, and when she reached into the blanket, it was still warm.

"Where are you..." she murmured, burying her head into the blanket.

Perhaps the room was soundproofed too well, as Simon Forrester didn’t hear her calling for him and did not respond for a long ti. She casually wrapped the thin blanket around herself, sat up, slipped on slippers with eyes closed, and as soon as she got off the bed, Simon Forrester walked into the room.

He had just finished showering; his hair was damp and sleek. He walked to the vanity mirror, drying his hair while glancing at Sienna in the reflection, "Do you want to take a shower?"

Sienna Thornton was staring absentmindedly at the three-centiter scar on his back. When he asked, she snapped back to reality, patting her groggy head, muttering, "No wonder I feel so uncomfortable waking up; I didn’t shower last night..."

She jumped out of bed, grabbed so clothes from the bench at the end of the bed, and slipped them on haphazardly. She then took a clean nightgown out of the suitcase and was ready to shower. As she passed behind Simon, she suddenly stopped.

He looked at her through the mirror, "What’s wrong?"

Her hand gently touched the centipede-like scar on his back, her fingertips softly caressing around the wound, whispering, "The wound seems redder today."

He turned around and looked at his back in the dressing mirror, teasingly saying, "No, it looks the sa."

Seeing his indifference towards his injury, the sadness that slowly crept into Sienna’s heart was instantly dispelled. She lightly slapped his shoulder, both annoyed and helpless, "Even though you’ve passed the worst of the healing period, you injured a critical area. If you don’t take care of it, you might end up with permanent damage and need to use a wheelchair in the next life. From now on, be careful and don’t ss around."

Simon Forrester didn’t reply. Responding would an agreeing, and at tis like this, it’s best to play deaf.

He continued to dry his hair in front of the mirror, admiring his handso face.

Fortunately, Sienna Thornton didn’t press the issue. She took her clothes and promptly went into the bathroom.
