The girl spent five years at the University of Azure Harbor, obtaining degrees in both law and economics. Afterward, bringing the savings she accumulated from working in Azure Harbor, she returned to Braden University for graduate studies. During her two years at Braden University, she earned a master’s degree and obtained the dostic lawyer’s license. Then, under the persuasion of her professor, she applied for the doctoral program at Harvard Law School.
For a full ten years, she had to devote a lot of ti and energy to studying and working; ten years later, she finally carved out a niche for herself in Brimfield.
But just a little while ago, she found out that this world she had built was so fragile that it could collapse at any mont.
This world was not stable.
When she first ca back from the United States, she entered "Vantage" through Thomas Reed’s recomndation, becoming one of the lawyers in Brimfield’s top foreign-related departnts with an extrely impressive annual inco. In less than two years, she used the first bucket of gold she earned at "Vantage" to buy a small two-bedroom apartnt in the land-scarce Brimfield. Yet she wasn’t satisfied with the status quo and had the idea of starting a bed and breakfast. By chance, she got Simon Forrester’s support and left the law firm to beco a B&B owner. Later, when the B&B project failed, she earned her second bucket of gold through Simon Forrester’s recomndation, and, together with Rhonda Wagner and others, started a law firm. But in the end, she still couldn’t keep her position at the law firm.
These seemingly brilliant achievents were all because she took shortcuts, so an unfounded accusation or so trolls posting online could easily destroy them.
She was actually one of those who failed among the millions in the entrepreneurial army. Without Simon Forrester backing her up, she wouldn’t even know where she might be living now after mortgaging her house to start a business...
She thought she should start doing things steadily. Without relying on anyone, without taking any shortcuts, she would embark on a new, solid, and secure path to build a career of her own.
Perhaps this invitation from the Treaty and Law Departnt would open up another possibility for her.

"The Forrester Group" usually finishes work at five. Sienna Thornton figured Simon Forrester would be ho around six, so she got up at five-thirty to cook.
The rice was washed and placed in the pot by four, with the ti set so it would be ready to eat by six.
Sienna Thornton now placed the marinated beef she had just prepared into the pan for a quick stir-fry, cooking it to dium rare, then adding the chopped green peppers.
There was still moisture on the green peppers, and as soon as they hit the hot oil, it splashed everywhere with a sizzling sound.
Sienna Thornton quickly covered the pan with the lid for a mont until the sizzling died down, then picked up the spatula, ready to stir a few tis before taking it off the heat. Just as she moved the spatula a bit, her waist was suddenly wrapped tightly by soone.
The fresh and elegant scent of the man wrapped from the back of her neck to before her. It was the scent of Simon Forrester.
From behind, the man embraced her, kissed her adorable ear, and laughed lowly twice, "Why didn’t you tell you were coming ho today?"
She laughed, raised her hand to touch the cheek resting on her shoulder, "It’s a surprise inspection! What’s the point of notifying in advance?"
"What have you found?"
She continued to stir-fry the beef and green peppers in the pan, feigning anger, "Long hair of won everywhere—on the bed, in the bathroom, in the closet!"
"Hmm, those hairs are all from my wife."
She burst into laughter and elbowed his stomach before turning off the heat. Turning to face him, she wrapped her arms around his neck, "Simon Forrester, how dare you! The mont I return ho, you marry soone else?"
He encircled her waist with both hands, looked at her with deep eyes, and his voice was tender, "Of course, it’s with the woman I deeply love."
