The day before Sienna Thornton went to the Forrester Group, she first went to do a secret inspection of the fastener product division.
Forrester Group only has its headquarters in the pricey Brimfield, while other divisions are set up in various locations based on product type and whether they are for export.
For example, the division that makes fasteners, due to its focus on export parts, was set up in T-City, which has a port, making it convenient for container shipnt and saving a lot on transport costs.
Sienna Thornton drove over an hour to T-City, using her ID from when she was the Forrester Group’s Chief Legal Officer to smoothly enter the industrial park, starting her covert visit from the raw material workshop to the finished product warehouse.
In less than a day’s ti, she figured out the reason behind the batch of raw materials being scrapped.
She hurried back to Brimfield with a recording pen, and didn’t ntion it when she got ho that night, planning to tell Simon Forrester at the Forrester Group the next day when it would be easier to obtain certain data on-site.

The next day, Sienna Thornton drove to the Forrester Group.
She took the executive elevator to the chairman’s floor, which was the second last floor.
As she got out of the elevator, the receptionist looked her way and smiled. Just as Sienna was about to register, she heard the receptionist sweetly say, "Hello, Director Thorne. Chairman Forrester is in his office, do you need to take you there?"
Sienna Thornton was slightly surprised.
Since Simon Forrester officially assud the position of chairman of the Forrester Group after the New Year, she hadn’t been to the Forrester Group even once, and naturally did not know this receptionist.
She pointed to herself and asked, "How do you know ?"
The receptionist smiled happily, "Chairman Forrester instructed that you can directly enter without booking or registering when you co."
Sienna suddenly understood, thinking: Simon Forrester is quite attentive. She smiled and waved at the receptionist, and walked straight in.
She had been to this floor a few tis for etings when she previously worked for the Forrester Group and still rembered the way.
The floor with floor-to-ceiling windows all around has a large central hall with a simple design, featuring leisure areas, a viewing area, a reception area, and a eting room. Passing through the ornate double wooden doors opened to the chairman’s office of Forrester Group.
Sienna Thornton crossed the hall and saw that Gavin Gale’s office door was open. She looked inside and saw Gavin sitting there.
She knocked on the door, and when Gavin saw her, he quickly stood up and nodded politely, "Director Thorne, you are here."
She gestured for him to keep it quiet and laughed softly, "Keep it low-key."
Gavin smiled and walked out, "Are you looking for Chairman Forrester?"
"Yeah. Is he busy?"
"Financial President Rhodes said there’s sothing to report and just went in."
Gavin knew that their boss adored his girlfriend, never hiding company matters from her, and even canceled a eting with an important client last week to follow her to Valois. Thinking of this, he felt there was no need for Sienna to wait outside just because Faye was in there, and asked, "Do you need to take you in?"
Sienna shook her hand repeatedly, "No worries, I can go by myself. But... if I just knock and go in, would it be against protocol?"
Gavin didn’t answer, thinking to himself: Against protocol? Not at all, you’re the protocol of Chairman Forrester.
Of course, he couldn’t say that openly, so he turned and said, "No, Chairman Forrester will be very happy to see you."
"Really? Then I’ll knock myself." Sienna Thornton happily left Gavin’s office and walked to the ornate double wooden door across the hall.
Before knocking, she first listened to the silence inside.
It’s so quiet, what are they doing?
After listening for a while and hearing nothing, she rapped three tis rhythmically with her fingertip. Simon Forrester’s slightly deep voice soon ca, "Co in."
Sienna Thornton opened one side of the door and poked her head in first.
Simon Forrester frowned, sitting on the executive chair, and upon seeing her, his face showed a slight hint of surprise.
The woman sitting in the guest chair turned her head to look at Sienna too. With just one glance, she impatiently stood up, craned her neck, and looked towards the opposite office of Gavin, "Who are you looking for? Why wasn’t there a notice? Where’s Gavin? Why didn’t Gavin stop her?"
"Faye!" Simon Forrester sternly stopped Faye from continuing.
He stood up, walked over to Sienna, and brought her in, leading her to sit on the couch, "Why are you here?"
Sienna playfully stuck out her tongue, "There’s sothing to tell you." Then glanced at Faye, whose face turned pale, and asked Simon Forrester, "I hope I didn’t interrupt?"
Simon Forrester chuckled, "I was just discussing sothing with President Rhodes. You can wait a mont."
"Alright!"
Simon Forrester took his seat again and concisely told Faye, "Two things. First, finalize next year’s budget by the end of December at the latest; second, January mid-month, issue the annual operation report."
Faye looked troubled, "Chairman Forrester, the ti is a bit tight. The finance departnt is quite busy before the new year."
Simon Forrester asserted firmly, "Figure it out, work overti if necessary! I want a long vacation after the new year and hope these two things are settled before then. Dragging it to March would be ridiculous."
After saying that, he nodded his chin at the door, indicating that Faye could leave.
He got up and walked to the sofa, softly asked Sienna, "What ti did you get up? Had breakfast?"
Sienna laughed, looked up at him, "I got up when you went to work, ate the sandwich you made, and drank milk! Am I good?"
He pinched her nose, "You rarely get a holiday. Why not sleep in instead of getting up that early?"
"If I oversleep, I won’t be able to sleep at night eventually, then you’ll be in trouble..."
Their conversation was intimate, and their posture was so natural that even a fool could tell they were a couple.
Faye was dumbfounded, unable to believe it, and stared blankly at Sienna wearing jeans, short boots, and a casual wool coat.
The more she looked, the more familiar Sienna felt, as if she had seen her sowhere before. After thinking for a long ti, she finally rembered that Sienna was the inspirational PhD student who recently went viral in the friend circle.
Faye felt utterly confused.
Her mind was filled with the image of Simon Forrester having three girlfriends at the sa ti.
She simply couldn’t make Simon Forrester fit that kind of character...
Faye walked out of the chairman’s office in a daze, and as she passed by Gavin’s office, she initially wanted to ask him sothing. But recalling his honest, extrely loyal deanor, she decided against it.
She returned to her office, intending to throw the matter out of her mind and focus on work, but found she couldn’t concentrate. So she decided to call her brother, Harrison Rowe.
When the call connected, she blurted out, "Does Chairman Forrester have many girlfriends?"
Over the phone, Harrison Rowe was bewildered, responded, "No, right? He’s always been with Lawyer Thornton."
"Yes, Lawyer Thornton is one. There’s also a Ms. Thorne, and today there’s a PhD student who just made the news a few days ago."
Harrison laughed loudly, "Those three are the sa person! Lawyer Thornton is Ms. Thorne, who is also Director Thorne of the Treaty and Law Departnt!"
