Soon it was Tuesday, and Sienna Thornton went directly from work to linda Linton’s place in the afternoon.
When she talked to Simon Forrester on the phone that afternoon, Simon seed eager to go with her, but she sternly refused.
Knowing the Forrester Family was superstitious, she decided to make up a few superstitions to scare him. Upon hearing that eting in the evening could affect their marriage, he imdiately gave up on the idea of going to linda Linton’s place with her.
Sienna returned to The Springs Residences feeling free and easy.
Although she had only stayed there for two days over the weekend, she was in high spirits about seeing her mother again. During dinner, she joked with Auntie King and acted coy with linda, exclaiming how delightful these days were and that she wished to live with them forever.
As fellow won, they understood the comfort of living at their parents’ ho. Auntie King candidly said, "Aren’t you and Mr. Forrester planning to live at The Fenmore Villa after marriage? When the ti cos and you have a child, both I and Linton will help you take care of it! You won’t even need to hire a nanny!"
Upon hearing this, Sienna gave Auntie King a thumbs up: "Auntie, that’s a great idea! Let’s do that then! With you both helping take care of the baby, I can go to work without worry!"
But linda, who was always pessimistic, didn’t agree: "That’s the Forresters’ precious grandchild; who knows if they’ll let us take care of it..."
Auntie King comforted linda: "Don’t worry, if the Forrester Family doesn’t agree, Mr. Thorne will speak for us! Mr. Thorne treats you so well and listens to you in everything; he’ll surely help..."
Sienna listened and remained silent. The phrase from Auntie to linda "Mr. Thorne treats you so well and listens to you in everything" made her feel a bit uneasy, fearing sothing might go out of control...

The next day, the entire Forrester Family arrived to knock on the door right at 12 noon. However, after Sienna opened the door, they lingered outside until 12:06 before Old Master Forrester gave the order for them to enter.
Sienna thought only Old Master Forrester, Grandma Forrester, and Zane Forrester’s couple would co, but was surprised to see Bianca Fordham’s family as well.
With nine Forrester Family mbers plus Sienna and her parents, the not-so-large living room felt a bit cramped.
There weren’t enough seats on the sofa, so the younger mbers, Simon Forrester and Thomas Reed’s couples, casually sat on a few small leather stools.
Sienna and her parents sat on a three-seater sofa, leaving a four-seater for the guests.
After a brief chat, Old Master Forrester took out a red bag embroidered with gold threads from his pocket and solemnly handed it to Quentin Thorne.
Quentin Thorne received and opened the red bag, taking out a square red paper, and read aloud the contents: the year of the Water Tiger, month of the Water Tiger, day of the Earth Pig, to start at the hour of the Dragon, enter at the hour of the Horse; marrying off; the year of the Water Tiger, month of the Water Tiger, day of the tal Rat, return at the hour of the Horse.

Seeing the bewildered young couple, Quentin Thorne laughed and said: "It simply ans getting married on the 15th of the lunar calendar next year and returning on the 16th!"
Only then did the young couple understand.
But once they understood, another problem arose.
Sienna said: "Our company resus work on the 7th of the lunar calendar, so won’t I be working only a few days before I need to start taking leave?"
Simon Forrester said: "Sa here."
Old Master Forrester laughed heartily: "Jules, you have no problem; there are so many capable people in The Forresters, so you can stay at ho and focus on preparing for the wedding! Annie, you can discuss with your leader. After the new year, you can continue resting! From New Year’s Eve, you can rest until your honeymoon is over!"
Sienna and Simon did so quick calculations, figuring that they would almost be off from around New Year’s Eve until the end of February, with the earliest return to work being February 28th.
For Simon, it wasn’t a problem; after all, he was the boss.
But Sienna felt a headache, having no idea if Director-General Linton would be willing to give her a month’s leave. Even when their fastener case succeeded, he only gave her a half-month break, calling it a big holiday. They hadn’t won a case this ti; would he grant her leave?
Seeing her frowning with a troubled expression, Quentin Thorne patted her hand, signaling her to calm down.

Quentin Thorne had also brought an old almanac with him today. Going through the dates given by Old Master Forrester, he found that it was indeed rare to have two consecutive auspicious days for marriage and engagent in February, with the wedding day being the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, a day for family reunions.
He nodded frequently and chuckled: "The dates are indeed excellent!"
Old Master Forrester straightened up proudly and said: "Of course! It’s the only grandson of the Forrester Family getting married! The dates must be the best!"
After speaking, he boastfully inford everyone of how hard it was to get these dates from the master. These dates implied the couple would have not only a happy marriage, prosperity, but also many children and grandchildren!
Other than the occasional response from Grandma Forrester, everyone else was speechless.
Not wanting to listen to these superstitions, Quentin Thorne glanced at the old almanac, suddenly tapping Sienna’s arm to indicate she should take a look: "The day before getting married happens to be Valentine’s Day in the West, and it’s a Monday. Do you want to register at the civil affairs bureau that day?"
Sienna almost instinctively refused: "There’ll definitely be lots of people that day; we might have to queue up before dawn, and it’s cold. I don’t want to join the crowd."
With a tone of subtle coquettishness, like a young girl being a little willful to a doting father.
Quentin Thorne just smiled, having no objection, simply nodding and patting her arm, speaking gently: "That’s true. If you catch a cold while queuing, it would be troubleso. Let’s not join the crowd..."
He continued flipping the almanac, occasionally asking Sienna for her preferences, checking which day she would like to register for marriage so he could note it down on the marriage compatibility red paper.
Embarrassed to choose for herself, Sienna asked Simon Forrester’s opinion. Without even looking at the calendar, Simon said: "Let’s go with the 14th of the lunar calendar. I think it’s a good day. Queuing isn’t a problem; I’ll have soone hold our spot the night before, and we can go the next day at a normal ti."
Sienna laughed: "Is that possible???"
Simon Forrester: "Why not? It’s fine, no problem, that day it is!" Then he urged Quentin Thorne to quickly write down the date.
Quentin Thorne looked at his daughter, seeing that Sienna didn’t object, he smiled as he filled in the date, then carefully annotated numbers below the auspicious days.
He handed the red paper to linda Linton: "linda, take a look, these are the dates for our daughter’s wedding and return."
