Mina Thorne looked at Sienna Thornton expressionlessly and said calmly, "Bringing up the past now is aningless. No matter what happened back then, if my mom wants to seek Auntie’s forgiveness now, please consider it."
She had calculated that with so many people present, each persuading Sienna and linda Linton to say a word or two, linda would forgive at least on the surface, regardless of how she felt inside, out of sympathy for Ian Grant’s severe illness.
However, no one at the scene spoke up.
And linda seed hesitant, frequently looking at Sienna, as if the decision was up to her.
Mina felt indignant and was about to speak when Seth Sutton said, "This is not a trivial matter. Let’s give Aunt Linton so ti to consider it. We should head back for now."
Gage Grant opposed, "No, that’s not good. Since we’re all here, we should resolve it in one go! My aunt needs ongoing treatnt, and it’s not good for the patient to keep worrying about this."
He brought up Ian’s health, equating seeking linda’s forgiveness with moral coercion.
linda once again looked at her daughter, and Sienna nodded. Only then did linda softly say, "I forgive you. Take care and get well."
Sienna signaled Auntie King to take linda back indoors, while she stayed outside to watch over Ian and the others.
Ian felt liberated, murmuring, "Hurry and buy the ticket; I need to see the master."
Mina kindly replied, "Okay, I’ll buy the ticket in a bit. Let’s head back first."
She turned the wheelchair around, and Gage bid farewell to Sienna and the others before leaving.
Seth was the last to leave and even said, "Congratulations on your marriage." before departing.
Simon Forrester gave a slight nod.
By the ti Sienna realized it, Seth had already left.
She didn’t know what to say. Ian’s performance left her quite speechless, but she couldn’t bring herself to speak harshly to soone with little ti left, yet she felt stifled inside.
"It’s all over," Simon said.
She shook her head, "It’s not over. Back then, it was the Grant Family’s interference that made my mom and suffer so much. This can’t just end here..."
Simon glanced at the door, ensuring Gage had walked away, then lowered his voice to ask, "What do you plan to do then?"
Sienna didn’t speak for a mont, but after a long pause, she said, "The instigator from back then should apologize to my mom!"
By now, anyone could see that Old Master Grant had orchestrated everything. Asking him to apologize was asking the entire Grant Family to apologize. Not to ntion Old Master Grant’s strong connections even now, just considering Zachary Grant’s presence, it was not a simple matter.
"Let’s talk about this later." Simon patted her shoulder, "Go inside and check on mom; I’ll have a word with Tobias."

Sienna went into the room to check on linda Linton.
linda was sitting alone on the sofa, staring dazedly at the Jade Lotus on the coffee table.
Sienna sat across from her, carefully observing her expression to ensure nothing seed off before cautiously asking, "What did dad tell you about what happened back then?"
linda looked lost, "He said there was a problem at ho."
Sienna nodded, "Strictly speaking, he wasn’t lying to you. If the Grant Family threatened your parents’ jobs back then, then there indeed was a problem at ho."
Hearing this, linda beca anxious, "Is that true? The Grant Family threatened your grandparents?"
"It seems likely."
linda’s shoulders slumped, she sighed and continued to stare blankly for a long ti before saying softly, "If that’s the case, then I don’t bla your dad. It’s sothing not everyone can do, yet linda, who had never been to school or read books, whose life order was built purely on life experience, still had such a big heart for Quentin Thorne, who had abandoned her and caused her so much suffering years ago.
Sienna felt that perhaps the original intention was more precious than anything.

After that day, Ian and his daughter never ca to bother linda again. Occasionally, Quentin would call linda during the day, caring for her health and reminding her to take care of herself.
He also called Sienna, but her attitude was always cold, so over ti, he called less.
April quickly arrived, and since Ian was seriously ill, Quentin didn’t plan to return to his hotown for the tomb-sweeping ceremony this year. He called to ask if Sienna wanted to go alone, but she said she would take Simon with her.

Sienna walked with Old Mrs. Thorne and a group of aunts and uncles.
Everyone was curious why Quentin and his wife weren’t coming ho for tomb-sweeping this year since they ca every year before. Sienna guessed that Ian’s illness was quite a secret, probably known only to his siblings.
Sienna didn’t know why they wanted to hide it, considering it couldn’t stay hidden for long, but she didn’t say much and respected Quentin and his wife’s decision.
On the road back to Brimfield in the evening, Simon drove while Sienna and Old Mrs. Thorne sat in the back seat.
Since Sienna had been quite busy before and after her wedding, Old Mrs. Thorne hadn’t had the chance to talk to her in detail, so they discussed the patents Sienna had obtained, figuring out how to maximize their benefits on the drive back ho.
