"Smartphone."

He imdiately understood and laughed, "It’s in my pants pocket, you can grab it yourself."

Her delicate hand unceremoniously slipped into his jeans pocket, fumbling around a bit before pulling out the matching phone, just like hers. She deftly entered her birth date, unlocked the screen, opened WeChat, scrolled up and down, and complained, "Why do you only have a few people on your WeChat?"

He retorted, "Why not?"

She continued browsing his recent chat list and found that he only chatted with her on WeChat. The rest were probably just him and Tobias Blackwood and others coordinating their et-up spots and sharing locations.

She teased, "Are you so ancient human? Everyone uses WeChat, yet you only use it to chat with ?"

Simon Forrester didn’t see anything strange about it: "Simple things warrant a phone call, complex things an email. If you didn’t prefer using WeChat, I wouldn’t even know it was for chatting."

Sienna Thornton shoved the phone back in his pocket, her pale face breaking into a beaming smile upon achieving her aim.

Simon Forrester glanced at her sideways, "Were you just worried I added so girls on WeChat, so you checked my phone?"

Sienna shrugged, not denying it, "Yeah, being pregnant now, I’m either throwing up or asleep every day. Who knows if you’ll go find so other girl to have fun with?"

Simon Forrester was both amused and exasperated, "You weren’t worried at all when you were abroad for half a month, but now that I’m around, you’re concerned I’d go out and find girls."

Recalling her business trip to Valois for half a month, Sienna often checked Simon Forrester’s phone location. He was either at The Forresters, at Fenmore Hill, or at the old house—never found him anywhere else.

She mostly trusted him, yet soone like Simon Forrester, even if he didn’t go actively seeking won, they would naturally flock to him. Like a few years ago when he was on a business trip to The Northeast, didn’t she find out a girl kissed him...

So when it ca to her own husband, Sienna Thornton adopted a kite-flying policy, usually letting him wander free, but occasionally giving the string a tug when she rembered.

Sienna no longer felt sleepy, and as they chatted, it was dark when they finally arrived in Brimfield.

As soon as Simon Forrester got ho, he ran her a bath, letting her soak, while he went to prepare the wontons they brought back from Z City.

When she finished her bath, the wontons were ready. He served them up in the bedroom on the second floor for her to eat. After watching her finish, he waited for her to brush her teeth and wash her face, then tucked her into bed before heading back downstairs himself to clean the kitchen.

By the ti he finished his shower and joined her in bed, it was already quite late. He planned to cuddle Sienna Thornton for a bit, read a book, and then sleep. But suddenly, he rembered the call from the old house while he was showering, and asked, "What did Grandpa say?"

Sienna drowsily replied, "Oh, nothing much, just asked why we weren’t going out to have fun..."

Hearing this, Simon Forrester sensed sothing was amiss. Just as he considered calling Old Master Forrester back, the call ca again.

As soon as he answered and confird it was him, Old Master Forrester began scolding, "You’re on vacation just because Annie is on vacation? Did you earn any rit just because Annie did? Skipping work every day to stay by your wife’s side—where’s your ambition? If you’re out traveling, that’s one thing! But staying holed up at ho, what are you doing? Ah? You think the Forrester’s business doesn’t need handling anymore? Planning to starve your future great-grandchildren, are you? You unfilial son! Get back to work at The Forresters imdiately tomorrow!"

With that, the call ended with a click.

Simon Forrester was left baffled, words poised on his tongue only to be swallowed back as he turned to his wife. "The old man went off on without listening, hung up even. I ant to tell him you’re pregnant, but never mind now."

Startled, Sienna Thornton opened her eyes, looking at her husband nervously, "What did Grandpa scold you about?"

"He said I’m going to starve the Forrester family’s future generations."

Sienna took a mont to process this, then burst into laughter, "It’s because The Forresters is like a big, noisy family. You’ve been off work for a week—it definitely got back to Grandpa."

Simon Forrester snorted, tossing his phone back on the nightstand, burrowing under the covers, holding his wife close, and grumbling, "If I find out who’s been blabbing behind my back, I’ll deal with them."

Sienna gave him a knowing glance, "Who else could it be?"

Speaking of this annoyed Simon Forrester, not wanting to let it affect his mood, he cald himself and whispered into Sienna’s ear with a laugh, "What do you want to eat tomorrow? Hubby will take you out for it."

Sienna thought hard for a while, then said, "I want the beef brisket noodles and the white fruit stew from Old Street."

Simon Forrester was a bit surprised, "Old Street in Norport."

Sienna nestled into his embrace, nodding, "Mm."

Without further hesitation, Simon Forrester flipped over to grab his phone, starting to book plane tickets, selecting hotels.

Sienna, seeing he was serious, tugged at the hem of his pajama top, laughing, "I was joking. Going to Norport is quite a hassle—let’s just relax at ho."

"It’s just a little over a two-hour flight—easier than going to Z City. What hassle?" Simon Forrester said, scrolling through hotel pictures, "How about this hotel? Looks nice."

Sienna glanced at a few images with him, then suggested, "If we really want to go, why not stay at the villa from last ti?"

Simon Forrester paused mid-scroll, realizing what she ant. He smirked, tossed his phone aside, and turned off the bedside lamp.

Sienna thought he was going to sleep, so she prepared to doze off as well, only to have him reenact the kiss from four years ago in Norport.

Afterwards, just like that ti, he pulled her into his arms, his warm body enveloping hers, tenderly saying, "Didn’t you want to buy a house in Norport before? You said the climate’s nice and even asked Harrison Rowe about it."

She couldn’t even rember it, so she replied, "I must’ve been joking back then. I’ve settled in Brimfield now, why would I buy a house in Norport?"

In the dark, her back pressed against Simon Forrester’s warm chest, his gentle voice in her ear.

He chuckled, "If you like, I’ll buy that villa we stayed in and redesign it. In the future, when we have vacation ti, we can bring the kids and elders there. When the kids are old enough, we can tell them this is where their mom and dad fell in love..."

In the dark, one’s sense of hearing is especially acute, emotions and imagination particularly vivid. Hearing Simon Forrester’s words, Sienna could instantly envision a picture of clear blue skies, a villa by the sea, three generations under one roof, joyfully united.

She wanted it, but felt uncertain, hesitantly asking, "How much does that villa cost?"

"Given the current price in that area, around several tens of millions."

She considered it for a mont and said, "Not bad. The house my mom lives in, initially cost nearly that too. Such a big three-level beachfront villa for the price of a three-bedroom in Brimfield—that’s quite a deal, and it seems like it’ll appreciate, right?"

Simon Forrester smiled, tapping her on the forehead, "It definitely will appreciate, so buying now ensures a profit."

"Alright, let’s buy it!"

That night, Sienna Thornton made the most extravagant spending decision in her thirty-plus years.

There’s a saying that won are happy when they shop, and she was no exception. Monts ago lethargic, she was now bustling with energy, donning her robe, eagerly heading to the closet to pack for tomorrow.

Seeing her revived spirits, Simon Forrester felt content, thinking the money was well spent indeed.
