Seeing Jack Hawthorne and Logan Lockwood, Sienna Thornton was slightly surprised.
Jack was the first to spot them and imdiately walked over with a cheeky grin, starting to flatter Sylvia Langley: "Oh my, Sister Langley, have you gotten younger again? Look at this skin, this collagen, standing next to your wife, you look like her sister."
Sylvia was all smiles from his complints but pretended to be serious: "You little rascal, have you secretly demoted a generation? You’ve got so nerve, huh?"
"How could I?" Jack supported Sylvia over to sit down, giving a thumbs up as he walked, "You haven’t t my old lady; those wrinkles could kill a fly. If I put you in the sa generation as her, wouldn’t that be calling you old?"
He escorted Sylvia to the sofa like an empress dowager, with Logan, who was sitting on a single seat, having already gotten up to give up his spot.
Sylvia sat down, just about to invite her daughter-in-law to sit with her when Kevin Chaucer and Vincent Zollner suddenly appeared from nowhere, pulling her son and daughter-in-law into the inner lounge.
Over there, having entered the small lounge with Simon Forrester, Sienna saw Kevin and Vincent and imdiately realized what Simon had brought these people together for.
Outwardly, it was to say they were coming to Brimfield for the New Year, but in reality, it was to unite these third-generation elites within the country to pressure Old Master Grant.

Gu Yi’s affair back then shouldn’t have involved Zachary because those letters never ntioned him. Plus, Quentin Thorne always got along well with Zachary. Thus, tonight, even if Zachary and his four sons were present, they probably wouldn’t offend the Forrester Family, Quentin, and Simon’s influential friends to support Old Master Grant’s misguided decision.
"You rascal! I heard you nad your son after ; what’s the big idea?"
Sienna was lost in thought, while over there, Kevin had already started playfully arguing with Simon. The two were laughing and fighting, with Zollner going over to break them up but failing, until the two, having a combined age of seventy, tired themselves out and finally separated.
Zollner chuckled, "Did you really na your son ’Kevin’?"
Kevin protested angrily, "Indeed! Nad ’Kaden Forrester’! So what do I do in the future? Seeing my nephew, he says ’Hello Uncle Kevin,’ and I reply, ’Hello, Nephew Kevin!’ People would think I’m a broken record!"
He imitated a baby’s voice, causing Zollner and Simon to burst into laughter.
Sienna also pressed her lips trying not to laugh.
Outside, hearing laughter from inside, Jack and Logan quickly ran in, "What’s so funny? What are you three laughing about?"
Feeling a bit embarrassed, Kevin fiercely warned Zollner and Simon, "No telling! Anyone who says anything will deal with !"
Everyone laughed but said nothing.
Logan scoffed and pulled Jack outside to play cards again.
Simon went out to look around, then returned inside and asked, "Why haven’t I seen Fourth Master Grant?"
Kevin pointed his chin towards the study across, "Getting lectured inside."
Simon asked, "What did he do this ti?"
Zollner answered, "He’s causing a fuss wanting to marry a celebrity, but the problem is she cos from a small place and is also a lesbian."
Simon: "..."
He guessed imdiately that it was Maeve, quickly diverting the topic.
Sienna had never connected these two people, so she didn’t realize the subject of this gossip was her best friend.
While everyone was chatting, suddenly the study door across opened.
Gage Grant ca out with a long red mark on his face, followed by Zachary Grant adjusting his belt buckle, and lastly, Old Master Grant, whose face was red with anger.
"Damn!" Kevin whispered, "Fourth Master Grant got smacked again."
Just as he said this, Jack and Logan had already gone over to bring him into the small lounge.
They sat him down with Gage in the middle; Jack fanned his face while Gage winced from the sting.
"Uncle Grant is just ruthless; he always targets your face," Logan said while joining in fanning. "Does he think you’re too handso and needs to smack you into a pig’s head to stop you from fooling around?"
Gage glared at him, "Get lost."
Simon watched Gage with a deep gaze, saying nothing.
Kevin smoothed things over, "A few scars on a man’s face make him look manly! Don’t worry about it!"
Zollner laughed, "Clearly a beating from dad, lucky you don’t sll like baby powder; where’s the manliness?"
Everyone burst into laughter.
Gage felt embarrassed, shoving the fanning Jack away nacingly, "Since it’s like that, don’t bla for being rude to the old guys!"
Saying this, he looked at Sienna, who was sitting quietly on the side, "Sister-in-law, don’t worry; tonight I will fight to the end with the old man!"
Sienna guessed he, having been reprimanded by Old Master Grant and Zachary, was harboring a desire for revenge, planning to turncoat and help her tonight.
She chuckled softly, but didn’t reject him outright. More support ant a more advantageous situation for her tonight.
Everyone was still laughing when the Eldest Grant ca in to announce, "Dinner is served, everyone please move to the dining room."
Sienna quickly stepped forward to link arms with Simon, making their way to the dining room surrounded by Kevin and Zollner. anwhile, Jack and Logan went out to find Sylvia.
At the dining room entrance, the group ran into Tobias Blackwood, who had just entered the inner courtyard. Nine of them sat at a round table, and after a while, Ronan Grant also ca over.
Sienna observed the surroundings.
The Grant Family’s courtyard was larger than the Forrester Family’s, with the dining room spacious enough to hold five ten-person round tables.
Simon’s friends filled one table neatly, the Grant Family sat at another, while the other three tables were occupied by nearby neighbors.
Everyone chatted and laughed, creating a very warm atmosphere.
Sienna kept watching the Grant Family’s table, noticing it wasn’t full, with three empty seats. As Ronan’s parents were only partially present, Sienna wasn’t sure if those seats were being kept for Ronan’s parents.
As she was pondering this, the guests at the two tables near the door suddenly rose to greet soone entering: "Dean Thorne, you’re here? Please co in, co in."
The string inside her heart tugged as she looked over, indeed seeing Quentin Thorne arriving with Mina Thorne and her husband.
Quentin was also looking for her among the crowd. After a mont, their eyes t in the air, and Quentin smiled at her.
Seeing her father appear with Mina Thorne and her husband, on such a day and in such a setting, left her feeling bitter and forlorn, causing her to withdraw her gaze.
On her shoulder, the warm hand of the man tightened gently on her shoulder blade.
Turning her head, she leaned close to Simon’s ear and said with a hint of lancholy, "Thornton coming with them—is it his silent way of taking a stand?"
