Old Master Forrester didn’t personally take the envelope, instead he gave a look to Ambassador Grant beside him.
The Eldest Grant reached out for the envelope, opened it, looked through a few pages, and then whispered with a shocked expression into Old Master Grant’s ear.
Old Master Grant’s face slightly changed, but he quickly pretended to remain calm. He went to pat Quentin Thorne’s shoulder, signaling him to stand up and speak.
Unexpectedly, Quentin Thorne sat still, unmoving.
Old Master Grant was growing anxious, just about to ask him what was going on, when over there, Sienna Thornton was already smiling and asking: "Did you know before marrying your daughter, Dean Thorne had a marital relationship in the countryside where he was volunteering?"
Her voice wasn’t loud, and her pace was moderate, yet enough for all the guests in the restaurant to hear clearly.
