(Extra Chapter for Monthly Ticket 14/16)
Sienna Thornton agreed to the arrangents made by Julian Shepard and Tobias Blackwood.
She left the private room with Quentin Thorne and returned to the banquet hall.
In the elevator, she asked Quentin Thorne, "Dad, I agreed, it’s not wrong, right?"
Quentin Thorne smiled and touched her hair, "If you were a child who loved freedom and play, I would have turned it down for you earlier."
aning she is a workaholic, isn’t working just working?
Sienna Thornton leaned against the elevator wall, folded her arms, stared at the changing numbers in the elevator, and sighed, "I used to promise your favorite son-in-law that once I retired at sixty, I’d travel the world and do charity with him. But now, after agreeing to those two, it might be hard to even go abroad, let alone travel the world."
She didn’t even know how to tell Simon Forrester about it at night.
Thinking of how Simon Forrester might freak out and then nag for days, and occasionally bring it up with a resentful complaint, she felt this matter was truly botherso.
The elevator arrived, and the father and daughter went back to the banquet hall one after the other.
The guests were all about to leave, and Simon Forrester was holding the child, greeting relatives. Seeing Sienna Thornton return, he quickly went over to her, "What did First Shepard and Tobias tell you?"
"I’ll tell you at ho." Sienna Thornton took Victor from his arms, held the child, and went to see off the guests together.

After the banquet, the family of three, along with Sylvia Langley, returned to the villa at Fenmore Hill.
After coaxing the child to sleep, while Sienna Thornton was about to rest, Simon Forrester, having finished his bath, ca out, turned off the lights, and got into bed too.
Feeling the mattress behind her sink slightly, Sienna Thornton asked drowsily, "Aren’t you working late tonight?"
"I’ve been busy all day, need to rest at night." Simon Forrester said, gently hugging her from behind. She turned over, nestled into a comfortable position in his arms, and continued to shut her eyes.
"What did First Shepard call you over for tonight? Are they really going to ask you to change units?"
Sienna Thornton perked up a bit, opened her eyes, "Look at my poor mory, I forgot about it right when I got ho."
She said, sitting up, "After returning from Valois at the end of next year, I might be transferred to the municipal economic committee."
She had a long day, and spent a long ti talking with Julian Shepard and Tobias Blackwood this evening, keeping her mind tense the whole night; relaxing upon coming ho, her mind instead went blank.
She pondered how to tell Simon Forrester about Julian Shepard wanting her to be a cabinet mber. After all, it’s not sothing that could be explained in a sentence or two.
Organizing her thoughts for a mont, she said, "Julian Shepard hopes that when he takes office, I can assu my position as Pri Minister alongside him, so he’s planned out my career for the next decade..."
Simon Forrester understood but unexpectedly didn’t speak or object.
Sienna Thornton nestled into his arms a bit more, "Do you agree? If you don’t, I can just refuse them."
He smiled, hugged her closely, set his gaze on the wall opposite the bed, pondered for a while, then lowered his head to kiss her forehead, softly saying, "I respect your decision."
He picked up the remote on the bedside table, turned out the lights, and pulled up the light blanket to cover them both.
Outside the window, the sky was clear; the bright moon was nearly full.
Victor slept soundly in his crib.
Simon Forrester embraced his wife, gently patting her back as she drifted off to sleep.
She was already about to fall into deep sleep when she suddenly woke up, tugged at the hem of his T-shirt, and said, "I forgot to tell you, if I agree with them, I’ll be very busy in the future, and have to delay retirent; we promised to travel the world at sixty..."
"No problem, we can do it at seventy." He took the opportunity to suggest to her, "To ensure we’re fit enough to travel the world at seventy, you should start exercising with on the third floor, at least an hour a day."
