After Dong-Kuang had accomplished the closing of the cultivation stage, he ca out to organize the new disciples himself. This caused both the new and old disciples to beco excited and enthusiastic because the sectmaster was the one who organized the disciple promotion by himself.
At that ti, all of them were complaining that the period had stretched longer than a month, as Zheng-Fu had told them. But when they saw Dong-Kuang, the previous dissatisfied expressions had disappeared. And, of course, the promotion examination this ti would not be like the previous ones.
Previously, if only their energy level had reached the threshold, they could pass the tests and advance in their disciple ranks. But for this examination, Zheng-Fu had already set new rules for Dong-Kuang. The seven thousand incoming new disciples, plus over six hundred old servant disciples, were able to be promoted to outer disciples as long as they passed the three tests that the sect had set.
The first one was the energy level test. The second was a test of their concentration. And the third was a ntal test. The promotion of outer disciples to inner disciples was the sa, but the difficulty level increased further. All disciples would have to participate in this promotion test if they were thinking of upgrading their disciple ranks, including inner disciples as well.
The sect did not force every disciple to participate in this test; it depended upon the will of the disciples themselves. But there was definitely no disciple who did not want to promote their rank, because the more high-ranking disciple they were, the more resources they would receive.
