"Your Majesty, do you an Royal Son-in-law Zheng-Fu?" Dan-Ge asked, wanting to confirm he hadn't misunderstood.

The king turned and repeated himself twice, fearing that everyone might not have clearly heard that the energy wave just now belonged to his son-in-law. (As if they wouldn't know, he emphasized it twice!)
"Congratulations, Your Majesty! When Princess Qi-Fu-Er recovers from the poison, Your Majesty may soon be holding a strong grandson," Dan-Ge congratulated the king. If anyone else had said this, they might have been reprimanded, but Dan-Ge was an exception because he was the princess's uncle and part of the family.
"Mm! May it be as you say, Commander. If I really do get a grandson, I will give you a splendid reward. In the midst of the battle, an enormous energy pillar suddenly appeared, forcing all beings below the Divine Emperor stage to crouch involuntarily. The war paused montarily, even drawing the attention of those on the brink of death.
"Master!" On this battlefield, only one person recognized the owner of the energy pillar. Jin-Tian's previously tense expression shifted to a smirk. Gripping his sword tightly, he resud his slaughter of the panicked enemies.

A figure ditating in the shadowy room opened his eyes. He wasn't surprised by the intense energy wave coming from the Monster Kingdom. He recognized the aura and knew exactly who it belonged to.
"I didn't expect that kid to advance his energy so much in such a short ti. If this continues, my plans will be ruined! No, I can't let this happen!" The speaker was none other than the Demon Emperor, who had been training intensely after setting his plans in motion. He never imagined that the young human he faced before would raise his energy level so quickly. A human rivaling his own energy level was an unwelco threat.
"You shouldn't worry too much about this. Although that boy advanced his energy, he'll need ti to stabilize and balance it, which could take months. What can he possibly do to you in the anti, my son?" An eerie, hoarse voice sounded from a shadowy figure seated on a wide, hand-shaped platform, gazing intently at the Demon Emperor.
"Father, I'm not afraid of him. But I don't want my plans to fail. We've sacrificed a lot, so this plan must succeed!" the Demon Emperor responded to the shadowy figure that had spoken earlier, his tone and expression filled with seriousness.
"Huh! You say you're not afraid, but your face betrays you. It looks like fear to . Do you want to look at your reflection?" The forr Demon Emperor, his father, didn't believe his son's words. He could clearly see the fear in the current Demon Emperor's expression.

"I understand, Father. It's because I've been overthinking. I'm sorry!" The Demon Emperor quickly regained his composure and resud cultivating his energy. Tomorrow would be the day of the disciple selection.

"Congratulations, my husband! Congratulations on advancing to the next energy level!" a sweet, joyful voice echoed from within the Winter Coffin.
"Ah! But it feels like such a waste of resources. I consud enough for two, no, even three people. Just advancing to this level required a huge amount of resources. How much more will I need to reach the Heavenly Root stage? How much!?" Despite others celebrating his advancent, Zheng-Fu was dissatisfied. He had exhausted all the available Purple Heaven Crystals. He only had thirty left, and his mine produced just one lump a day. Even the Purple Heavenly Demon divine pills were used up, leaving nothing in reserve. If he hadn't leveled up, he would have had to resort to using the Purple Heavenly Demon Potion as well.
"What are you muttering about? Tell !" Qi-Er asked, hearing Zheng-Fu mumbling to himself.
"It's nothing! I was just so happy that I beca speechless. My words got stuck in my throat," Zheng-Fu quickly diverted the topic. He didn't want to worry her with his troubles.
"That's good. But... today marks the fourth day. Are you heading back to the Holy Ancient Region?" Qi-Er's tone suddenly shifted to a sadder note.
"Yes, I need to leave today. I really want to take you with , but I can't figure out why this Winter Coffin won't enter my dinsional space. No matter how many tis I tried, it didn't work!" Zheng-Fu imdiately replied that he had to leave today, grumbling in frustration about not being able to store the Winter Coffin back into his secret dinsional space, unlike when he had taken it out.
"It's okay. I'm fine here. I have Mother, Father, the elders, Luo-Qing, and others to keep company. If I were alone in your dinsional space, I'd be bored and lonely," Qi-Er consoled him gently. She then said that she didn't want to be alone in the dinsional space; here, she still had plenty of people to talk to.
"I..." Zheng-Fu hesitated. He didn't want to leave for the main world, but he had no choice; the antidote was there.
"You don't need to say anything. Go quickly so you won't be late. If you don't make it in ti, you might never get the antidote, and we might never see each other again," Qi-Er said playfully, trying to lighten the mood and ease his worries.

The response he received was very satisfying. Jin-Tian had just beheaded the enemy's grand commander. The Monster Race's army had advanced, defeating the secret demon army of hundreds of thousands. They had managed to kill nearly all their enemies, a trendous achievent.
Knowing that Jin-Tian had already secured victory, Zheng-Fu withdrew the energy boost he had given him. Then he hurried to the ancient ruin, traveling even faster than he had a week before. With each increase in his energy level, his speed also improved.
