Though his energy level was lower, he refused to back down. He resolved to fight to the death to take down this mortal enemy.

"I... I… Argh!!! I might not survive much longer. Even though the sword didn't pierce my vital organs, it drained much of my energy. The weapon he used—the Life-Swallowing Demon Sword—is a legacy artifact of the Demon Clan!" the forr queen said weakly, coughing up blood.
"Jin-Tian, promise you'll protect my granddaughters. Keep them safe from harm, and don't let anyone hurt them!" The forr queen was well aware that she would not live much longer. Even if soone ca to replenish her energy now, it would be aningless because the enemy was still present, and the battle was far from over. If anything happened during this ti, both she and others might perish together. Thus, she decided to entrust Jin-Tian with the responsibility of taking good care of her two granddaughters, as well as the Monster Kingdom itself.

"I promise I won't let anyone harm Luo-Qing or Mistress. Including yourself!" Jin-Tian vowed, imdiately picking up the forr queen and soaring toward Fu-Er's palace, the safest location in the kingdom.

This greatly reduced their numbers compared to before, and so of them were injured, making them easier to deal with.
"Master, why haven't you returned yet? The situation is worsening. If the forr king falls, this capital will collapse, and we'll all perish—Mistress and included!" Jin-Tian muttered while standing vigilantly at the palace entrance. He could handle demon shapeshifters but dared not interfere in the high-stakes battle between the two leaders.
anwhile, the Demon Emperor was executing his plan to delay Zheng-Fu's return to the kingdom, buying ti for his father to complete their mission, regardless of the cost in lives.

But before I die, I refuse to die in vain! Huh!" The forr Demon Emperor realized the amplification skill he used was nearing its limit. If its effects wore off, he would be left crippled, having consud his body, soul energy, and life energy in exchange for its power. Determined not to waste this opportunity, he resolved to complete his mission.

King Duan-Jian roared in anguish as he saw his father's body vanish before his eyes. The pain of his loss was indescribable. His grief turned into seething anger, his reddened face darkening further with fury.

Redirecting his sword skill toward the forr Demon Emperor, Duan-Jian tried to stop him. However, the energy orb created by his father remained locked on its target and refused to change direction.
"Ha ha ha!!! It's too late, Kid! Watch closely as beautiful things unfold. If you want revenge, seek it from your son-in-law, for he obstructed my son!"
