Wu Santong glanced at Manager Li, who was slumped by the doorstep, and scratched his head. “Well… we have so things to discuss with Li the Sixth. Can we… can we take him with us?”
Manager Li, hearing that Wu Santong wanted to take him away, nearly burst into tears.

Though Ma Shengming had only had brief contact with Wu Xiaoyu, he saw him as mature and steady.

Ma Shengming was slightly let down that it was just an economic case. “Alright, I’ll send soone to look into it.”

He contacted Ma Shengming to offer him a rit, strengthening their relationship and to swiftly crush Li the Sixth!

He imdiately suspected the shop owner had a grudge with Wu Xiaoyu and that Wu Xiaoyu was using him to get rid of an enemy.

A case involving millions might not be rare, but recovering such a large sum would be significant.

Determined, Ma Shengming said, “Okay, I’ll send soone to investigate imdiately and take the shop owner into custody.”
Wu Xiaoyu looked at the terrified Manager Li and smiled. “Alright! Send a team to Tong Family Lane.”

With that, he hurriedly hung up. Wu Xiaoyu was left staring at the phone, surprised.
Wasn’t he indifferent? Why co personally? Is he afraid I might kill Li the Sixth?
Wu Xiaoyu chuckled helplessly, squatting down to Manager Li. “You heard , I called the police. There’s no escaping your tax evasion!”
“Mr. Wu, I was wrong! Please, spare ! I can give you money… a lot of money!” Li the Sixth pleaded exaggeratedly.
