Sensing Zhou Yong’s smugness, Zhang Dadan knew he wasn’t telling the whole truth, and his anger diminished sowhat.
But Chef Li’s sudden appearance made Zhang Dadan wary and even a bit uneasy.
Technically, after Chef Li’s last chaos, he was imprisoned for a few days, he should be keeping his head down. Why would he dare provoke us now?

His arrogant attitude further convinced Zhang Dadan that he must have secured so new backing.
"Mr. Li, I’ve seen many dogs, but never a lapdog. Thanks for showing one today!" Zhang Dadan replied.
Chef Li got angry being compared to a lapdog. Unsure how to react, after a while, he fud, "To dare is bold, but don’t be proud!"
"I’ll tell you today, with Li Tian and here, you cannot handle this..."
"Li Tianlai? I must admit, that’s quite bold of you..." Zhang Dadan retorted, seemingly complinting him.
Hence, the chef naturally thought Zhang Teng’s comndation for his boldness was indeed a complint.
"Mr. Zhang, you know even if you took my spot, eventually you still lose!" Chef Li asserted confidently.
But Zhang Dadan’s next words left him dumbfounded, crashing him down from his high horse.
Listening carefully to Zhang, he heard, "You misunderstood! I ant, you’re just like a cockroach!"
Cockroach... cockroach? Li Tianlai imdiately flew into a rage. Losing his mind for a bit, pacing in front of Zhang boldly, he threatened:

Without waiting for a response from Dadan, Zhou Yong asked again, "What’s Li’s background? Are you thinking of sothing?"
