As the dust settled and the last echoes of battle faded away, I stood alone amidst the desolation of the battlefield. The guardian and co-guardians of Nazarick, along with our entire army, knelt before in a display of unwavering loyalty and obedience. Their eyes were filled with a mixture of reverence and fear, a testant to the power I wielded as their leader.
Demiurge stepped forward, his crimson eyes burning with anticipation. "My lord, what shall be our next move?" he inquired, his voice reverberating with a quiet intensity.
"Next move? Well, I have a promise to fullfill." I said then I turned to Shalltear, who was bathed in blood.
"Shalltear, open a gate and bring Evil eye and Renner to ." I said.
As Shalltear nodded in acknowledgnt, a shimring portal materialized before her, and she stepped through to carry out my command. Monts later, she returned, accompanied by Evil Eye and Renner, both of whom looked relieved yet apprehensive as they beheld the scene before them.
"Ah, Evil Eye, Renner," I greeted them with a nod. "Thank you for joining us."
Evil Eye's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the carnage surrounding us, while Renner maintained her usual composed deanor, though I could see a flicker of concern in her eyes.
"What is the aning of this, Ancient one?" Evil Eye demanded, her voice tinged with urgency. "What has happened here?"
"Worm, you dare to call Ancient-sama without title, I will kill you." Albedo voice range through the area, it not just her all the Guardian and Co-gurdians also aid their killing intent towards Evil eye.
Evil Eye's eyes widened in shock at the sudden hostility directed towards her, her breath catching in her throat as she realized the gravity of her mistake. Renner, sensing the tension in the air, cast a quick glance at Evil Eye before stepping forward, her voice calm yet firm.
"My apologies, Ancient One-sama," Renner interjected, her tone respectful. "Evil Eye ant no disrespect, I assure you. We are simply taken aback by the scene before us."
I could feel the tension in the air thickening with each passing mont, the weight of Albedo's threat hanging heavy over us like a dark cloud. But even as the Guardians and Co-Guardians bristled with hostility, I raised a hand to quell their anger.
"Albedo, stand down," I commanded, my voice firm yet gentle. "Evil Eye is not our enemy. She is a valued ally, and I will not tolerate any harm coming to her in my presence."
Albedo hesitated for a mont, her eyes blazing with defiance, but then she reluctantly lowered her weapon, a scowl marring her otherwise perfect features. The other Guardians and Co-Guardians followed suit, though their expressions remained cold and distrustful.
Turning my attention back to Evil Eye and Renner, I offered them a reassuring smile. "Forgive my Guardian's impulsive nature," I said, addressing Evil Eye directly. "They are fiercely loyal to and will do whatever it takes to protect from harm."
Evil Eye nodded in understanding, though I could see the wariness still lingering in her eyes. "I appreciate the sentint, Ancient One-sama, " she replied, her voice tinged with relief. "And I apologize once again for any offense caused."
With that, the tension in the air began to dissipate, replaced by a sense of uneasy calm.
"Now, the reason why I called you is because of the promise I made you." I said.
"But didn't you already killed Surshana. So how are you going to fullfill your end of bargain." Evil said.
"You don't have to worry about that." I said.
'Friday, remove the restriction placed in Surshana resurrection item.'
[Right away, Sir.]
As Friday worked to remove the restriction on Surshana's resurrection item, I turned my attention back to Evil Eye and Renner, who watched with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation.
"There," I said, nodding towards Surshana's lifeless body. "He will be back soon."
Evil Eye's eyes widened in surprise, while Renner maintained her composed deanor, though I could see a glimr of intrigue in her gaze.
"I must admit, Ancient One-sama, I did not expect you to honor our agreent so readily," Evil Eye remarked, her voice tinged with disbelief.
"I always keep my promises," I replied, a hint of amusent coloring my tone. "Now, let us attend to the matter at hand."
With that, I gestured for Evil Eye and Renner to approach Surshana's body as Friday continued her work. The tension that had filled the air monts ago had dissipated, replaced by a sense of anticipation as we waited for Surshana to return to life.
And as the monts passed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that I had upheld my end of the bargain, even in the midst of chaos and war. For in the end, it was my word that mattered most, and I would do whatever it took to ensure that it was kept.
Evil eye slowly approached Surshana body as his halo eyes once again started burn with blue fla.
"Evil eye, is that you," Surshana said.
Evil Eye nodded solemnly, her gaze eting Surshana's. "Yes, it is I," she replied, her voice filled with a mixture of relief. "You're back."
Surshana struggled to sit up, his expression a mixture of confusion and pain. "What happened? Where am I?"
"You were slain in battle, but Ancient One has brought you back," Evil Eye explained, her tone was calm.
"Why did he bring back? And aren't you supposed to death as Ancient one captured you."
"I was not captured, I go with him willingly." Evil eye said.
Surshana's brows furrowed in confusion as he struggled to make sense of the situation. "But why would he bring back? And why did you co with him willingly, Evil Eye?"
"The reason why you alive would be because of the deal I made with him."
