Overlord: Ancient one Chapter 8: World Travel I

"Seems like your friend has to go first, but don't worry you'll follow him soon." Arthur said mockingly to his opponent, as if reacting to his comnt the Elent looked pissed as it quickly closed its distance between them and swung down its massive war Hamr of about 5 ters towards Arthur's direction, as its offensive power was so great it made a loud explosion as it hit the ground before the war Hamr could even reach the ground Arthur in his Archdevil form has already changed his location.

But, as if it knew that it didn't hit anything at all other than the ground, the Elent lifted his war hamr without even looking at the huge hole it had made on the ground with his Hamr.

The Elent tried to look for Arthur as he disappeared from his place when the hamr hit the ground. But as Elent tries to find Arthur's figure, noise from its opposite direction suddenly catches its attention as a magic attack cos in its direction.

The Elent that was standing from afar, was pierced in its neck from behind by a glowing spear.

"AHHHHHH....." The Elent left an angry Roar.

The enraged Elent as it imdiately rushed towards Arthur.

"Oh geez, don't be a drama queen, that attack didn't even give that much damage" Arthur said with a playful tone.

"GRAAAA!!!"

Suddenly, the elent sprinted toward Arthur while still screaming out loud. While it was rushing towards him, Arthur noticed that the eyes of the Elent had beco crimson red and its Height also increased.

"Is that your Final Form?"

Arthur realized that it must be so sort of power-up. That's natural since this Elent is the only remaining one in its group that protected this dungeon.

Arthur doesn't want to fight it up front, he is weak in physical aspect as he was in his Archdevil form so he imdiately raises his right hand, opens his palms, and casts a spell in the Elent direction.

{Maximize Magic: Frost Nova}

From Arthur's palm, a White magic circle had suddenly appeared and white flas in a circular pattern had co out from it and imdiately flew towards the Elent direction while freezing the area around it.

When the Elent saw this, it imdiately positioned its massive war hamr in front to block the incoming attack.

As {Frost Nova} is AOE spell the damage was not concentrated but it was highly effective against the Fla elent which is made up of Fla. Arthur specifically learned this spell for his incubus form to smoothly hunt and grind experience in MÚSPELLSHEIM.

After the Elent manages to block the {Frost Nova} but when it looks towards the front again, it seems that Arthur was not there anymore.

The Elent stopped running to look for Arthur, but before it could even turn its head, Arthur suddenly appeared behind the elent. Brandishing his glowing Magically made spear, he shoves it towards its Abdon region.

"ROOOAAR!!"

The Elent was surprised as it was suddenly attacked from behind, but unlike what Arthur thought, that attack wasn't enough to one-shot the power-up Elent. The Elent imdiately gripped its massive war hamr it holds and swung it toward Arthur

Though surprised, Arthur acts imdiately to dodge the Hamr as he stomps his foot on the Elent's shoulder and launches himself backward to avoid the attack, To distance himself from the Elent he uses {life essence} to see the remaining health of Elent, seeing less than 5% HP Arthur quickly cast {Frost Prison} spell and trapped the Elent in it.

As {Frost Prison} is a trap-type spell its effect is slow but is deadly as long as the target is in the spell range, this is also one of the spells he studied along with {Frost Nova}.

After that, it falls to the ground as its HP reaches zero, then slowly disintegrates into light particles.

{Congratulations! You have slayed the Guardian of the Fla House Dungeon}

When the body was completely gone, a bright fla color orb dropped to the ground.

Arthur picked the orb from the ground and held it in the hand to see its details The orb looks extrely hot but as it is a ga he couldn't feel it.

{Orb of Fla House}

A Legacy level item, which is given to those players who managed to defeat all Guardian Elents in the Fla House Dungeon.

It is a very useful crafting item, which can be used to make Fire resistant tools.

The details of the item were very simple, for everyone else this is a piece of item that can be used for making an item that has fla property.

But for this is an item which will give another free slot in my skill {Alternate Ego}.

Collecting his remaining loot Arthur begins to walk to a deeper place of the Fla House Dungeon. After walking for a while he cos across a large door which looks like it's made of lava and in its centre a small hole can be seen which looks perfect for the Orb to fit in.

He placed the {Orb of Fla House} in the middle of the structure as a loud sound erges as the door opens its way for Arthur to move forward and sees a gigantic dragon who seems like it's made up of fla and its surroundings are entirely covered in golden Lava, upon seeing the site in front of I awe for a brief mont.

Clockwork here, how was the chapter guys?

(ok, I have no idea how i should write the fight scene with the dragon, as you know i am terrible at writing fight scenes, so the next chapter may take so ti to release)
