"Attack them!" Oliver shouted.
At the sa ti, a group of large mutated spiders charged forward and attacked the lizard-like monsters known as Bouldzards, leaving them with no chance to fight back.
Within a few minutes, the entire floor had been cleared, every monster lying dead across the rocky ground.
"Why does this feel too easy?" Oliver asked, barely having any involvent in the battle. He simply allowed Queen to summon her spiders and let them slaughter every monster in sight.
By relying on this strategy, he had been clearing dungeons at an incredible speed. The current dungeon, Lizard Rock, was already the third dungeon he had conquered today.
"You should not depend too much on your monsters, kid. If you do that, your skills will beco rusty," Husk said. Yet even he had not done anything during the battle.
Nyx tried to contribute by shooting down the monsters, but his attacks were so powerful that they sotis hit allies as well. Because of that, Oliver told him to act more like a tank instead.
"I also... want to... kill," Nyx said in disappointnt.
"Don’t worry, okay, Nyx? Your ti will co soon," Oliver replied.
At the mont, his mana was only enough to summon two monsters. Luckily, Husk was capable of summoning himself in and out using his own mana.
After so ti, they finally reached the boss room. Awaiting them inside was Boulzilla, a Rank B earth elental lizard.
To be honest, if Oliver had been alone, he would have struggled against this boss. But against his army of monsters, it stood no chance at all.
---
[You successfully defeated Boss monster, Boulzilla for the first ti!]
[Obtained the following rewards:]
[10 Dominion Cores]
[500 Tar Coins]
[Obtained skill card: Terra Spike!]
[Terra Spike]
Type: Boss Skill (active)
Rarity: Uncommon
Effect: Summons a large jagged stone spike that bursts from the ground.
---
"Cool! I got a new skill!" Oliver said excitedly as he looked at the skill card.
The bosses he fought rarely dropped skill cards, so whenever one did, Oliver could not hide his excitent. He imdiately learned the skill without hesitation.
After that, Oliver brought out the Oculbane card. His plan was to summon the monster and ta it inside the dungeon, where any damage it caused would be minimal.
Just as he was about to summon it, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching.
He imdiately recalled all of his summons and quickly put on his wooden mask.
"Who are they?" Oliver muttered as he saw two figures walking toward the boss room.
---
"Please be careful, my lords," Emorim said as he and the other guards stood in front of the Lizard Rock portal.
"Huh, don’t worry so much, Emorim. The dungeons in this area are all trash. The highest rank among them is only Rank 4, while back at our place, Rank 7 to Rank 10 dungeons are our daily playground," Auron said with a smirk.
"But we still need to be careful, Auron. A dungeon is never a place to look down on. That’s what our Master always says," Aria replied.
"Fine, fine. You always quote our Master’s words. I know she’s the strongest tar in our county, but one day, I’ll surpass her. Just wait and see."
Auron then entered the dungeon, followed by Aria, who simply shook her head in response.
However, the mont they entered, they saw that all the monsters had already been slain. Judging from the color of the corpses, most of them had died from venom.
Aria crouched beside one of the bodies and noticed countless bite marks covering it.
"It seems they were attacked by sothing. We need to be careful."
As they ventured deeper into the dungeon, they found more and more corpses scattered across the ground. Not a single living monster remained in sight.
Eventually, they reached the boss room... only to discover that even the boss had already been slain.
"Tch. What a waste of ti. Let’s get out of here," Auron said as he turned around, only for Aria to suddenly stop him.
She pointed forward.
Auron narrowed his eyes and noticed a figure standing beside the boss’s corpse.
"Oii, are you the one who killed this boss?" Auron asked.
On the other side, Oliver did not respond imdiately. Instead, he carefully observed the twins standing before him.
’Who are they? Why have I never seen them before? Are they hunters too? Judging by their size, they must be at least two or three years older than . But if only the two of them entered this dungeon by themselves, then they’re definitely not ordinary hunters.’
"Oii! Are you deaf? I asked if you’re the one who killed this boss?"
"If I am, so what?" Oliver replied calmly.
"This bastard! How dare he talk to like that-"
Auron was about to charge forward when Aria suddenly stopped him.
"Be careful, Auron. Didn’t you hear his voice? He’s just a boy... maybe even younger than us."
"So? What’s the problem?"
Aria let out a sigh.
"Seriously, I wonder if your brain is only there for decoration. Think about it for a second. Don’t you find it strange that soone like him suddenly appeared beside a slain boss inside a dungeon filled with hundreds of dead monsters?"
She glanced around at the countless corpses scattered across the floor.
"If it were us, it would make sense because we have our monsters. But that boy... he should just be soone from this area. Which ans he must be strong. Maybe even as strong as us."
"I see. So this guy must be the strongest person in this area. Good! I’ve been bored clearing all these garbage dungeons anyway. Let’s have so fun!"
Auron imdiately summoned his monster, Ignivor. It was about a ter tall and resembled a small dragon, with flas covering its wings and tail.
Oliver’s eyes widened instantly. His Overlord Eye scanned the monster, revealing a rank he had never seen before.
Rank S!
"Here I go!" Auron shouted as he charged straight toward him.
