Next to her stood Koneko-chan, her small fra belying the incredible strength and resolve within. They would be my vanguard for the next part of our plan.
"Okay then, Ise, Koneko," I addressed them both, my voice steady despite the gravity of our mission. "You won't be able to avoid the battle once you get into the gym. Move accordingly, like we discussed. That location will be crucial."
Koneko-chan nodded, her usual stoic expression giving way to a brief flicker of determination. "Yes, I will."
Our target was the gym, and we needed to secure it at all costs. Ise and Koneko-chan were the perfect duo for this task. They couldn't afford to fail, and I had faith in their abilities. Ise, especially, was driven—she wouldn't let this opportunity slip by without using her "promotion."
"Then I will be going as well," Kiba announced, adjusting his sword at his hip with practiced ease.
"Yuuto, move accordingly like we discussed," I reminded him, the strategic importance of his role weighing on my mind.
"Roger that," he replied, his confidence unwavering.
Asia, our precious healer, stood beside , her nervous energy palpable. "Asia will be on standby with ," I told her, my tone firm yet reassuring. "But we will move once we get a signal from Ise and the others. You absolutely cannot be taken down. It will be over if we lose our healer."
"Yes!" she responded energetically, despite her nerves. Her healing abilities were our lifeline, allowing us to take risks that would otherwise be unthinkable. We had to protect her at all costs.
Our winning strategy hinged on protecting , the [King], and ensuring Asia's safety. Without her, our chances of success would plumt.
"Akeno, I trust you to move when you think it's the right ti," I said, turning to my dependable [Queen].
"Yes, Buchou," Akeno replied, her usual teasing deanor replaced by a serious resolve.
As the plan set into motion, I couldn't help but feel a mix of pride and anxiety for my team. Ise had co so far since she joined us, and her growth as a fighter and as a person was nothing short of remarkable. Koneko, despite her quiet nature, was a formidable warrior.
Kiba's loyalty and skill were unparalleled, and Asia's gentle heart belied an incredible strength. Akeno, my dear friend, always knew how to strike when the ti was right.
