Now reading: Chapter 208: Ajuka Beelzebub 2 from Overlord: The Multiverse, a Action novel by BlackBolt.

After they finally left Nazarick, Sirzechs Lucifer, one of the Four Great Satans, turned to his friend Ajuka Beelzebub. Ajuka looked like he had just escaped from the depths of hell itself. His usually calm and composed deanour was gone, replaced by a deep unease.

"Ajuka," Sirzechs began, his voice laced with concern, "what was that about? It's my first ti seeing you like this."

Sirzechs had seen Ajuka handle the most extre situations without breaking a sweat, so witnessing his friend in such a state was jarring.

Ajuka didn't respond imdiately. His mind was still racing, processing everything he had seen and felt inside Nazarick. He was usually soone who prided himself on being able to understand the underlying chanics of anything he encountered, but this... this was different. It was beyond anything he had ever witnessed.

Ajuka took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair, still visibly unsettled. He turned to Sirzechs, his expression serious. "Sirzechs, you need to listen carefully to what I'm about to say. That thing—whatever it is—sitting on that throne in Nazarick, is not sothing as insignificant as a god."

Sirzechs frowned, confusion flickering across his face. "What are you talking about? Alex?"

Ajuka shook his head, his eyes narrowing. "I don't think we truly grasp what Alex really is. He's not just so powerful being, Sirzechs. He is Death, or sothing directly connected to it. I don't an taphorically—I an it in the literal sense. I've seen enough to understand now. If he wanted to, he could destroy all of us without even lifting a finger."

The sheer gravity of Ajuka's words made Sirzechs pause. He had always known Alex was powerful and mysterious just from the red potion which Alex supply to underworld, but this level of concern was unexpected.

Sirzechs had long believed that the ultimate-class devils and the Satans themselves were so of the strongest beings in existence in this world. The idea that sothing could casually obliterate them was unsettling.

"You can't be serious," Sirzechs muttered, trying to comprehend what Ajuka was saying. "Alex has never shown any intention of being hostile toward us. He's been a friend and ally."

Ajuka's expression grew darker. "That's exactly why we should be even more careful. I don't doubt that he has no interest in conflict with us—for now. But the sheer potential he holds, the power he commands—it's beyond anything we've encountered. I sensed it the mont I walked into that throne room."

Sirzechs stared at Ajuka, the calculative genius who had always maintained his composure, now looked as if he had stared into the very abyss.

"But... we've dealt with powerful beings before," Sirzechs reasoned, trying to keep calm. "We've faced gods, fallen angels, even other underworld powers."

"This is different," Ajuka interrupted his voice barely above a whisper. "This is not just raw power. It's sothing deeper, sothing primal. The Guardians, his subordinates—they weren't just loyal servants. They were extensions of his will, ready to obliterate anything with a re word from him. And Alex... the way he smiled. It wasn't a smile of kindness. It was the smile of soone who holds the fate of worlds in his hands, who knows that nothing can challenge him. And he...."

Ajuka trailed off, trying to find the right words.

"Go on," Sirzechs urged, now fully attentive.

"Alex doesn't operate like a being of this world. He exudes a presence that's almost unnatural. It's as if reality itself bends around him, like he exists outside the normal boundaries of life and death. I've encountered gods, devils, and powerful entities, but none of them are like him. If what I'm sensing is correct, he could be on a completely different level of existence—like a being who walks freely between the realms of the living and the dead. That's why I said he's connected to Death."

He continues,

"I can't explain it fully, but my calculations have never been so certain of one thing. He's a danger we can't comprehend. Staying there longer, accepting his hospitality... it felt like tempting fate."

Sirzechs absorbed everything Ajuka was saying, but he remained calm, even as a gnawing feeling began to grow in his chest. "But Alex has been nothing but cooperative with us."

Ajuka said quietly. " We've only seen what he's chosen to show us, and if what I suspect is true, even that small glimpse is enough to annihilate us all if he ever decided to. I'm telling you this, Sirzechs—Alex is not soone we should take lightly. He may seem friendly and relaxed, but he's far more dangerous than any god or devil I've ever encountered."

Sirzechs raised an eyebrow. "Serafall and other just—"

"They are smitten with him," Ajuka interrupted. "But that's exactly the point. Alex has an aura about him, sothing that makes people want to follow him, to be part of his world, whether they realize it or not. It's insidious, and the more ti we spent there, the more I felt it creeping in."

Sirzechs exhaled slowly, his mind whirling with conflicting thoughts. On one hand, he trusted Ajuka's judgnt. If anyone could see through the layers of soone's essence, it was him. But on the other hand, Alex had never shown any signs of hostility or ill will. Could they really justify this level of fear based on potential alone?

"I believe you," Sirzechs finally said, his tone was benefiting that of one of the Four Great Satans of the underworld. "But what do you suggest we do? Alex hasn't given us any reason to act against him."

Ajuka was silent for a mont, and then he spoke, his voice firm but hesitant. "I'm not saying we should act against him. That would be foolish, and frankly, suicidal. I am just saying to be cautious. If he wanted to, he could make Rias, Sona and worst case, Serafall join his side and bring another civil war."

Ajuka continued, "I just hope it won't that, we can't afford another war. Maybe we should make a peace treaty with the other two factions."
