Overpowered Awakening: I Became Invincible With A Broken Talent Chapter 208: Messing with Time
According to Axel Storm, when it all began, he had decided to hide his family in the private dinsion to keep them safe while he went on to save the world as usual.
Nonetheless, before he even left, he felt a new power within the private dinsion, and when he got there, he was shocked to see the army of aurax present before him.
In the short ti it had taken him to even get there, Stormis had already gone berserk after one of the aurax joked about killing his beloved mother. In his berserk state, he had managed to badly wound a few index-3 aurax, showing just how unstable and dangerous he had beco.
Nonetheless, when the aurax crown prince stepped in, everything changed. Stormis was knocked unconscious almost instantly, his berserk state was cut short, and he was left badly wounded. Based on Axel Storm’s words, it would take a long while before Stormis would be able to enter that berserk state again. As a result, he would not be accompanying them on the exploration mission.
As for Mrs Victoria, seeing her boy knocked unconscious by such a powerful being was too much for her to bear, and she collapsed after witnessing it, her body unable to endure the shock.
After telling him about the state of Stormis, he proceeded to explain why the fight had taken longer than expected.
One of the aurax crown princes had been able to interfere with the ti synchronization between the private dinsion and the real world.
It made it so that an hour in the private dinsion was equivalent to an entire day in the real world.
But this revelation triggered a much stronger reaction from not only Marlon but also Norian.
They both stared at the heap of corpses before them, where five mighty aurax crown princes and over a hundred index-3 aurax could be seen lying lifeless. Then, almost at the sa ti, both of them began calculating in their heads before slowly turning to Axel, completely speechless.
’Even with Prince of Death, I can’t pull this off in a single day. Heck, even if I had a month, I would still struggle with just one of the aurax princes at my current strength, and yet he was able to take down all of them in an hour or even less.’ Marlon thought to himself as he stared at Axel Storm, who remained unaware of their expressions as he continued with his story.
Even Norian, who was usually calm and composed, was slightly baffled by the revelation.
A being who could easily access dinsions and create millions of portals across the world to transport monsters was definitely at least SSS-rank. Not only that, they were also able to interfere with ti itself, which was another cosmic law.
And yet, he had slaughtered all of them in such a short period of ti.
Sure, Axel Storm had single-handedly wiped out the lunaris back at the competition. He had even personally destroyed an entire planet. But the lunaris were nothing like the aurax.
To put it simply, the lunaris were almost the sa as humans, just with slight changes in pignt and appearance, while the aurax could be compared to divine beings, perhaps even cosmic ones.
"One of the aurax crown princes ntioned sothing about an encrypted soul ssage buried in one of the aurax sent after you. I am sure you have received it. What was it about?"
Once they arrived near the corpse, which was still very fresh, Axel Storm halted, turned to a slightly surprised Marlon, and asked, ignoring his facial expression.
Marlon quickly fixed his expression and began to narrate everything he had experienced.
He made sure not to exclude any part. After all, if it ca down to it, he would need the knowledge and power of the strongest hunter to face the aurax king. Not only that, he had learned that his guardian as the originless one was Axel, and he also needed answers.
"Hmm... So that is where he is residing," Axel uttered in a tone of realization after Marlon was done with his narration.
"I have been searching for him. Well, I have been searching for the ho planet of the aurax for a very long ti and have found nothing. It seems like I was searching in the wrong place."
He then turned to Marlon.
"You have grown stronger than I predicted. S-rank in such a short ti. You have broken my record," he said.
The curiosity to ask what his record was arose in Marlon’s mind, yet he ignored it. He needed more crucial information.
"You don’t seem surprised by the originless one topic," he asked.
Norian, as well, did not react much when he ntioned all that earlier. Sothing within him told him they already knew.
"We already knew you were the originless one from the beginning," Axel revealed, dropping a bombshell Marlon was not expecting.
Sure, the Vereena and the aurax knew about it, but those were different cases entirely.
To think that these two already knew and had kept it from him was difficult to accept.
Yet the revelation also raised a question. How did they know?
And most of all, what exactly was the originless one?
Marlon had already grown tired of hearing things like "I can’t tell you" and "you’re not strong enough to hear this."
If he were to hear that one more ti, he would definitely lose his composure.
After calming his restless thoughts with a slow breath, he turned to the two of them and asked the question that had been bothering him.
Norian and Axel exchanged glances and nodded, silently coming to a conclusion before turning back to him.
"There is still a lot we can’t reveal. Even in this private dinsion, there are certain laws I can’t break. However, I can tell you enough to satisfy your curiosity for now and also give you more motivation to grow stronger," Axel said.
At the beginning of his words, Marlon had started to lose hope. Nonetheless, as Axel continued, he felt a small sense of relief.
He could clearly see the hesitation in the eyes of the two n standing before him.
"We know you’re not the real Marlon Ashleigh from this world."
