Water World was located between two small mountain ridges in the southern suburbs of Binhai, only a few kiloters from the Phoenix Tail Mountain Villa District and its golf course.
It was originally a pond spanning several thousand square ters, but a company later invested a huge sum of money to excavate and extensively renovate it, turning it into a water-thed amusent park.
What the citizens of Binhai loved most about the place was its large, realistic man-made beach.
The fine sand, which stretched for over a thousand ters along the lake’s edge, was said to be high-quality sea sand transported all the way from the South Sea. The lake even had artificially simulated waves.
Binhai’s own coastline was all mudflats and was also heavily polluted.
Coming to Water World on a Sunday to experience the feeling of strolling along a beach and sunbathing had beco the next best thing for many Binhai residents.
The Yan siblings and Yu Suye drove to Water World, arriving a little after ten in the morning.
They t up with Jee Mingzhi, who had arrived a bit earlier. The group bought their tickets, entered together, and then went to their respective n’s and won’s changing rooms to get changed.
Yan Feifan was fully equipped with swim trunks, a tank top, a swim cap, and goggles.
Jee Mingzhi wore only a pair of swim trunks.
Sizing up Jee Mingzhi’s body, Yan Feifan had to admit the guy had a pretty good physique.
While he didn’t look like a gym regular with perfectly defined muscles, he had no obvious excess fat. His pectorals and thigh muscles were quite prominent, and his stomach was very flat.
As for Yan Feifan, after his recent period of exercise and taking traditional Chinese dicine to restore his vitality, his body had recovered quite a bit.

The park was mostly filled with families with young children and young couples...

The parents, anwhile, were lounging on rows of beach chairs under umbrellas, sipping drinks, eating fruit, and chatting with friends and family while keeping an eye on their children playing on the sand.
This scene made Yan Ziruo quite envious.
"Sunshine, beaches, villas..."
Yan Ziruo gushed, "Now *this* is the real life! Playing with your kids by the sea every day without a care in the world. How wonderful."
Yan Feifan rolled his eyes and said, "Sis, the seaside isn’t suitable for long-term living. It’s fine for the occasional vacation."
"You can go do so research. Very few fishing villages are built right on the coast; they’re all settled a few kiloters inland."
"The so-called ’sea-view apartnts’ and ’sea-view villas’ that are so hyped up now are all just a scam to fool people like you who don’t know any better."
Yan Ziruo glared at her brother and huffed, "Oh, so you’re the expert."
Jee Mingzhi chid in, "Feifan is right."
He continued, "I have a colleague who went with a tour group to Silver Beach on the Lu Province Peninsula, which they were promoting, and got tricked into buying a sea-view apartnt."
"He regrets it imnsely now. Forget about its value increasing—he can’t even sell it for half the price he paid."
Yan Ziruo huffed, "Then we’ll just go on vacation."
"We’ll take a vacation at a famous beach sowhere in the world every year or two. That should be fine, right?"
After saying this, Yan Ziruo noticed no one was responding and realized her brother had fallen behind.
Since Yan Feifan had stopped walking, Yu Suye naturally stopped as well.
As for Jee Mingzhi, he seed to be admiring the scenery in the distance and hadn’t heard what she said.
Yan Ziruo huffed under her breath and walked back to her brother, following his gaze.
A few beach chairs were there, with people sitting or lying on them.
Beyond the chairs was a grove of ornantal trees.
Yan Ziruo didn’t see anything worth stopping to look at, so she asked, "Feifan, what are you looking at?"
Yan Feifan pointed and said, "The ball of that person’s foot!"
Jee Mingzhi ca over too, looking in the direction Yan Feifan was pointing. He saw soone lying on a beach chair five or six ters away.
The person’s upper body and head were covered with a beach towel.
From the fair-skinned calves and small feet sticking out, one could deduce it was a woman.
Jee Mingzhi then noticed a dark, nickel-sized patch on the ball of the woman’s left foot.
Just then, he heard Yan Ziruo ask, "Feifan, that’s probably a mole or a birthmark. Do you see sothing wrong with it?"
Yan Feifan said softly, "Its diater is over six milliters, its border is irregular, and its color is uneven."
"If it’s a birthmark she’s had since birth, that’s one thing."

After giving Jee Mingzhi and Yan Ziruo this brief dical explanation, Yu Suye looked at Yan Feifan and asked, "Should I go over and ask her about it?"

Yu Suye walked over and gently woke the person lying on the beach chair.
