Thinking of Zero, Kieran let out a foolish giggle.
He pressed the voice ssage button: "Swing by the office, drop sothing off for ."

The night deepens.

The car pulled up beneath the dormitory.
"UU, I didn’t know you were such a star student at Capital Uni," the young driver exclaid.
Sophie Scott blushed slightly and said softly, "Thanks for today."
The young man waved his hand, smiling heartily, "No worries, no worries, we’re both in Fenton City. Let’s hang out next ti."
"Sure."
Sophie Scott responded in farewell, and as she got out, she glanced quickly back into the car, then quietly let out a breath of relief.
After the comic convention, she was invited to a gathering of comic creators. Although not everyone was present, like Florence Locke who left after the signing event, most of the famous creators in the circle were there. Given her invitation, Sophie Scott did not refuse.
With her outstanding looks and temperant, along with her reputation as a star student and a wealthy young lady, and having a hot title like "First Ruins," she naturally beca the center of attention at the gathering.
Most of the male comic creators were vying for her attention, even competing to drive her back to school... To say she wasn’t a bit proud would be impossible.
Through the car window, she nodded slightly to the group, feeling pleased and relaxed as she walked toward the dormitory.
However, as soon as she entered the building, a sudden phone call sent her mood plumting.
"UU, are you back?" Molly Forest’s voice was quite urgent, "I just saw the news, Zero promoted Florence Locke’s new work on Weibo. Now her work has surpassed yours on all fronts; our website server crashed imdiately..."
Molly explained the situation in detail over the phone.
Nora Scott’s steps faltered, her mind buzzing as if she’d lost consciousness, only snapping back after a while to ask in shock, "Zero promoted Florence Locke?"
In this circle, cross-promotions are quite common.
However, Zero is an exception.
Zero’s engagent in the circle is almost nonexistent. Besides updating comics, he basically has no connections with the circle. The only ti he recomnded a comic was back at Mihua Comics, when Zero supported White’s "Survival Ga" during a fan row between Zero’s and White’s fans, declaring himself a fan of White.
White posted similar content at the ti.
That was four years ago.
Now, given the hype and attention Zero has gained since the new year, Sophie Scott doesn’t need to look at the data to know how much of a sensation this promotion will cause.
"Yes, I just found out too," said Molly. "Now everyone’s speculating about the relationship between Florence Locke and Zero."
There was an understated uneasiness in Molly’s airy voice.
Today at the comic convention, although Molly didn’t openly confront Florence Locke, she wasn’t exactly pleasant to Nora Scott either, which indirectly showed no favor to Florence Locke...
Now, thinking that Zero might be backing Florence Locke, Molly felt weak all over, her knees barely supporting her weight, making her feel like she was about to collapse.
In her panic, she thought of Sophie Scott’s reasonably good relations with Florence Locke and quickly sought her out for information.
Molly asked, "You have a good relationship with Florence Locke, right? How about you go and ask her?"
Sophie Scott was montarily stunned.
For a brief mont, an image of storyboard layouts with a style very similar to Zero’s flashed in her mind, but she quickly reassured herself: Impossible, impossible...
Soone as arrogant and unrefined as Nora Scott couldn’t possibly be connected to Zero, who stands at the pinnacle of the comic world, right?
Florence Locke cos from a family of comic creators, so it’s possible she knows Zero, but that doesn’t an Nora Scott knows Zero!
As for those storyboard layouts...
There won’t be a problem.
She comforted herself: She was the first to release her work, and without any evidence, not even Zero would have a case against her.
Or perhaps Zero, being the eccentric person he is, simply doesn’t like her exploiting his na.
"Alright, I’ll ask."
After hanging up, Sophie Scott’s body went limp, leaning against the wall, her lips quivering slightly, her chest rising and falling with rapid breath, her face pale and devoid of any color.
After a long while, she tremblingly picked up her phone and dialed Florence Locke’s number.

anwhile, Nora Scott, just out of the shower, received a call from Laura Collins.
"I have sothing unbelievably dreamy to tell you, but I don’t know if I should."
Just hearing Laura Collins’ voice, it was clear she was in quite a dazed state.
Nora Scott asked, "Is it about Zero promoting you?"
