Taking out his phone, Pedro Langley dialed Butler Loxley’s number and walked to the balcony.

Butler Loxley’s voice, along with the cold wind, poured into his ears.
Unzipping his coat, Pedro Langley faced the howling cold wind and asked, "Do you rember the ti Grandma visited Nora?"
Five years ago, Nora had a first dispute with him and, a week later, calmly proposed breaking up.
Pedro didn’t give a definitive response.
A week after losing contact, Pedro really couldn’t hold back any longer and wanted to reach out to Nora and end this "cold war."
However, until then, he didn’t realize that during that week, Nora had completely vanished from his world, even changing all her contact information.
All along, Pedro had thought that Nora broke up with him over that insignificant argunt.
Until a few months ago, when Madam Langley passed away.
At her funeral, Butler Loxley casually ntioned Nora, talking about how Madam Langley, after learning about his relationship with Nora, had eagerly gone to see Nora behind his back...
The timing was just a few days before they broke up.

Castle River Hospital, in-patient departnt.
After just having eaten, Antonio Easton, still in the single room, was greeted by his first visitor of the day.
Pedro Langley.
"You’re just in ti," Antonio Easton sat up and beckoned him over, "Nora told the matter was resolved, she didn’t do anything out of line..."
Pedro approached the bedside, helped him sit up, placed a pillow behind him, and quietly listened as Antonio Easton inquired, answering his questions one by one.
Nora was raised single-handedly by Antonio Easton, so he knew Nora’s temperant inside and out.
The incident where Helena Wills angered Ward into the hospital truly infuriated Antonio Easton; hence, he asked Nora to intervene. He knew Nora wouldn’t suffer a loss in front of Helena Wills, and she wouldn’t easily let her get away either.
So, when Pedro detailed everything to him ticulously, not only did he not get angry or worried, he actually felt that what Nora did was satisfying.
"You ca to see , is there sothing you need?"
Antonio Easton, sharp-eyed and perceptive, noticed Pedro Langley’s unease and proactively inquired.
Usually, Pedro wouldn’t visit him this early.
Pedro straightened the blankets, stood tall with his eyes lowered, looking at him with a firm and determined tone, "I like Nora Scott."

Antonio Easton was stunned for a full three seconds before he looked up in astonishnt.
He had already detected hints of Pedro’s affection for Nora during their first eting.
Otherwise, the day before Nora’s birthday, Antonio Easton wouldn’t have approached Pedro and told him that Nora always eats Longevity Noodles on her birthdays.
But he never thought Pedro would choose to tell him this in such a direct and succinct manner.
