Faced with Marcus’s ignorance in three consecutive queries, Nora silently stared for three seconds, disappointedly walking back to the study.
"Hey."
Marcus called out to her.
Nora paused, slightly furrowing her brow, and turned to look over.
His pupils reflected the broken light, and Marcus quietly gazed at her, asking, "What do you want to know?"
Nora replied indifferently, "Just asking randomly."
The corner of his lips pressed straight, the cold white light casting him slightly aloof.
Then, he added, "She enjoys chanical techniques and studied interior design in college. My dad said she always wanted to combine chanical techniques and interior design."
"Oh?"
Nora found this interesting and raised her eyebrows with interest, "Did she succeed?"
"... No."
While his father was alive, he often said that once Evelyn Easton completed the design blueprints, they would renovate according to her designs.

Marcus lowered his gaze, weighing the rather aged book in his hand, flipping through it, discovering densely packed notes that startled him into a raised eyebrow.
Compared to Evelyn’s... exceeded without comparison.
