[Oliver Scott]: Visiting a friend’s house, he has a sister.
[Steve Singleton]: ???
[Steve Singleton]: What about logic?
[Oliver Scott]: It’s normal to bring sothing when visiting.
[Steve Singleton]: ...Alright.
[Steve Singleton]: I’m not too sure about this kind of thing either. But there’s a cake shop outside our school that the girls really like, they often plan to go there together. Why don’t you just bring so cake?
[Oliver Scott]: Okay.
Taking Steve’s advice, Oliver didn’t just randomly choose. He opened a review app, searched for cake shops citywide, and picked the one with the best ratings.
Driving, an hour and a half.
After hesitating briefly, Oliver opened Marcus Shaw’s WeChat and sent a ssage.
[Oliver Scott]: I might be a bit late.
[Marcus Shaw]: Oh.
As cold as ever.
Oliver was used to it and didn’t take it to heart at all.
Last night, after helping Marcus solve a few questions over WeChat, he successfully enticed Marcus into inviting him over to help out.
They arranged it at Marcus’s house.

The snow had just stopped.
After breakfast, Nora Scott went back to sleep and faintly heard the sound of glass shattering. She opened her eyes, and after lying there for two minutes, she shuffled out in her slippers.
At that mont, the living room door was pushed open.
Marcus Shaw walked in with a stern face, his expression so dark it could drip water.
"You’re not mad, are you?"
"I really didn’t an it, the ball moved first."
"Could we get soone to fix it today?"
With the incessant chatter, Oliver Scott followed him in, holding a basketball and looking rather gloomy, scratching his head behind Marcus.
Looking over them, Nora took the initiative to ask, "What’s going on?"
The two stopped and imdiately looked over, only then noticing her presence.
Oliver instantly fell silent.
"The bedroom window broke," Marcus explained, then glanced back at Oliver, explaining his presence, "He’s here to help review for finals next week."
"I see."
Oliver nodded obediently, instinctively placing his hand on his neck, glanced at Nora, and then quickly shifted his gaze away.
Marcus: "!"
He didn’t even dare look and still dared to say he wasn’t interested in his sister!
"Alright," Nora responded blandly, reminding, "Don’t play ball in the bedroom in the future."
"..."
Oliver lowered his head even more.
He was the one playing with the ball.
While Marcus was busy studying, Oliver, having finished two papers, out of boredom, played with the basketball in Marcus’s room. Unexpectedly, a mishap directly shattered the glass.
Though he truly felt Marcus’s bedroom glass was fragile, still, he couldn’t deny his negligence, feeling guilty was unavoidable.
Nora said, "You guys study in the living room first, I’ll call soone to repair the window."
"..."
Oliver felt even guiltier.
He broke the window, but Nora didn’t bla him at all and even took the initiative to call for repair... But when Nora greeted him at the Scott family, he didn’t respond, only giving her a cold face.
Marcus asked, "Aren’t you going out?"
On weekends, Nora would usually go out, which was why Marcus felt assured to call Oliver over.
But today, it seed a bit uncertain.
"I have so things to do, I won’t go out."
Marcus: "..." Oh.
Regretting calling Oliver over.

Antonio Easton was taken out early in the morning by Ward and the others, with several old n and a wheelchair, insisting on taking Antonio to view the snowy scenery in Fenton City. Nora only cautioned them to be safe and let them go.
The house was left with just the three of them.
Nora returned to her room to contact soone for window repairs, then freshened up, changed clothes and was about to order takeout when Eleanor Taylor appeared with a bunch of ingredients.
"Nora, my grandpa said they’re eating out, he’s worried you guys won’t have food at ho, so he asked to co over and make so dishes." Eleanor announced, carrying several bags, then looked at Oliver Scott who was sitting properly on the sofa, "And this is—"
Oliver took the initiative to introduce himself, "I’m Marcus Shaw’s classmate, Oliver Scott."
"Oh." Eleanor nodded, greeted, "Hello."
After speaking, she ran to the kitchen, busily starting to tidy up.
Not long after, her head suddenly peeked out from the door, eyes blinking in surprise, asking, "Did you guys even take a special trip to the south of the city to buy cakes?"
Nora: "What?"
Marcus: "?"
Their unanimous look of confusion made Eleanor puzzled, "The cakes in the kitchen, from the most popular cake shop in the south of the city, the only one. Didn’t you guys buy them?"
Nora was taken aback, looked at Marcus.
Marcus hesitated, looked at Oliver.
Oliver paused his pen-capping movent, then raised his head, scratched his nose with his finger, and said calmly, "I was passing by, bought it on the way."
